Park Karam did not understand. He did not understand at all. Why he did what he did at that time. Hiding behind plants pots near the canteen while praying with all his heart so that he couldn’t be found, that was what he was doing.

It was not a secret that he was in relationship with Shim Changmin, the chairman of student council. All of students, teachers and school staff already knew of their relationship. But why was it just Karam who was afraid to show it in public?

What was made him afraid?

Didn’t Changmin already make his confession to Karam and promised he wouldn’t hurt him again?

But why did Karam insist on hiding when his boyfriend looked for him? What was he still so afraid off?

Karam looked foolish trying to hide his body behind the plants pots which clearly couldn’t hide him at all. Key’s appearance, who was now standing beside him folding his hands in front of his chest did not make Karam aware that had he failed to hide successfully.

Suddenly noticing his best friend he stood up from his hiding placed and grabbed his hand, trying to get him to help him hide. He needed help.

“What’s going on with you?” Key asked him, he didn’t like his lunch break being interrupted

“He is here!” Karam answered whilst again trying to curl up behind the plant.

 “It’s useless Karam, he can see you. Plus why must you hide? He is your boyfriend!” Key yelled irritably trying to burn the words into his best friend’s stupid head

“Sssttt, shut up! Here, you must hide too!”

“Why? I would rather go and eat, I’m hungry.” Key replied his face showing an annoyed expression and leaving Karam alone in his hiding place.

 “Yah! Keeyyy~!”

“Stupid!”

“Don’t you want to go talk to him?” asked Jaejoong whilst looking at Changmin

He was feeding Yunho affectionately and his boyfriend wore an expression of adoration on his face. Three pairs of eyes were now fixed on the figure of the teenager who was hiding behind potted of plants not far from them.

 “I don’t want to make a scene in here. Just let him do whatever he wants. I don’t know what I should do to get him to talk to me, hyung.” Changmin answered looking sad

 “Do you want me to approach him?”

Jaejoong could not bear to see Changmin’s disappointed face whenever he saw Karam trying to hide from him in the most obvious manner possible. What were they? Were they an actual couple? Jaejoong couldn’t understand his cousin. Was there something wrong with his brain?

“There’s something wrong with his brain” Key said suddenly shocking Jaejoong, the fact he had just been thinking and had been thinking for many days now.

“Has he said something to you?” Yunho turned to ask Key.

He could not hold back his laughter when he saw Karam trying to hide himself from Changmin.

“He asked me to hide with him,” answered Key flatly and Yunho guffawed loudly

“Yunnie, don’t be like this!”

“You have a weird cousin Jae.”

“He’s still afraid of me, hyung,” Changmin said suddenly

He lowered his head and Jaejoong could not see Changmin’s expression anymore.

“Changmin ah…”

Jaejoong felt like pinching his cousin because he was the cause of Changmin’s current misery. He had never seen Changmin like this and as his closest friend Jaejoong was very concerned.

“I already called him so many times but he doesn’t answer. I sent him texts and he never return sends any back in response. I waited for him in front of his class but for some reason he never comes out when I’m there. So I waited at the front gate of school and somehow he always escapes me. I don’t know anymore what to do.”

“Have you been to his house?” Jaejoong asked Changmin

“I don’t want to go to his house. If I turn up without invitation it could frighten him further and that’s the last thing I want to do,” Changmin replied with a sigh

“Silly Karam, he’s being really stupid right now,” Key said shaking his head

Finally when the bell rang Karam came out of his hiding place, thinking that he would be hidden in the crowd of students going to their classes. But still feeling uneasy he looked right and left, not forgetting to glance over his shoulder just in case. He felt like a thief hiding from the police as he snuck around. But it seemed his luck was not with him, as soon as he glanced forward, he saw a pair of feet in front of him. He gulped slightly and looked up slowly praying it wasn’t who he thought it was.

Shim Changmin.

“Hu, huwaaaa~!!” screeched Karam maniacally

He tried to run away from Changmin’s, but Karam couldn’t because as the taller male had grabbed his hand and placed the other on his shoulder holding him firmly in place.

“Let’s see how you get away now!” he heard Key’s mocking tone

Karam looked behind Changmin and notes, his cousin, Yunho and Key all watching him with an amused expression on their faces.

“KEEYYY~!!”

“Karam ah, don’t be like this, you’re making Minnie worry,” Jaejoong said softly

“Jae hyung come on, please help me,” gasped Karam

“Karam-ah! Don’t rebel from my dongsaeng nae!” Yunho said gently as Karam tried to squirm away

“You too? Yunho hyung why?”

“Tell your teacher that Karam will be in student council room helping me work on some important documents,” said Changmin to Key who grinned and gave him a thumbs up sign

Karam could only but squeal his unhappiness, even though he was clearly getting ignored.
