No matter how dangerous someone is, you can't avoid to be changed, corrupted, and most of all, become attached. There is no turning back.

Prologue

“Just admit it Seo Joo Hyun.” He said smugly and loudly causing everyone to stop and look at the scene. Too embarrassed, I looked away and was about to go when he grabbed my hand tightly.

“Yah Jung Yong Hwa!! Stop Bullying our maknae-ah!!!” I heard Taeyeon unnie’s angry voice a few steps behind me. I pray that the ground would open up, swallow me, and never allow me to live, ever again!

“Awwww. Joo Hyuniee~ still needs her unnies to defend her? How pitiful.” He spats, still not letting go of my hand, and it hurts already. “Well, it’s as expected anyway. You’re always so fragile.. So.. Uptight and serious, setting a boundary from dangerous things..” His free hand found its way up to my chin and grasp it firmly to face him. I met his eyes and it was filled with anger, longing and.. confusion. “And dangerous people, like ME. Now tell me Joohyun-ah, tell me what I want to hear and I’ll let you go. I’ll call it a truce. I’ll walk away and act like nothing happened.” He continued. His face had this triumphant smile that I’m dying to wipe off. I’m on the verge of crying. I can’t admit it. I just can’t! Gathering up all my strength, I break free from his hold and run. Yes. Runaway. As always. I am weak. All I do is run and it’s what I’m good at. I can’t face this! This is too much for me to handle!!

I can still hear my unnies calling me. Asking me to stop. But my feet won’t, I keep running. I reach our school garden and my knees starts to shake. Before I know it, I’m crouching at the ground. My arms are supporting my body from collapsing, knees hard on the muddy surface and I’m panting, sweating and exhausted. My tears finally burst and they fall nonstop down my face.

WHY!? Why is this happening? I’ve been good! I’ve been safe!! Why does that Jung Yong Hwa have to come and ruin everything?! I will never admit it! I will never admit that I’ve fallen for him!!
