Whenever anyone sees the word 'PRINCESS' all they think of is money, spoiling, comfort etc, etc. But this particular princess is NOT that kind of princess who'd get everything she wanted. Why? Well, to answer you simply; it's because she doesn't even know that she is a princess. The poor girl doesn't even notice that everything is way abnormal around her because her secret bodyguard is always there to make sure she doesn't notice. 

But everyone starts hitting on her because she's a beauty and it becomes difficult for the bodyguard to hide things anymore.
