Onew .

It had been ages since she last mentioned about him .

She loved him. She knew it from the start ; once she fell for him , there's no turning back . They swored to each other that neither of them would regret their decision ; but he betrayed their love ; her hope , her trust , her heart , her soul. Yet he never seemed to care , nor ask .

Friends ; he would say

and her heart would feel like it had been stabbed a millionth time everytime he said that . She pretended not to care, but it was painful , so painful . She beared his harshness , partically due to that never fading love she had for him . Or it might possibly be those hardships she had gone through in the past.

-But except it was far worst than this .

*Flashback*

''How , how many times must I repeat myself ?'' her whisper sent shivers down the sobbing girl's spine .

She was weak, scrawny and dumb to be honest . She had everything yet she never made use of them , which was obviously the reason for an easy target among snoobish students . She never stood up for herself ; she never felt the necessity ; what they said were true . What made her think that she could date Onew ?She secretly felt a tingly bit of admiration towards the female students glaring at her ; How on Earth could they have the heart to treat someone like this ? Well , she knew she couldn't .

She curled into a ball as the constant beating continued and all she could do was to whimper in pain . She couldn't cry . Not infront of the bullies , it would make her look even more like a coward . "P-please s-ttop .....'' she choked . "Psh . Stop ? Stop and let your filthy body stick to my Onew ?'' she smirked as she signalled them to continue

She felt numb all over her body and a part of her felt like giving up . Maybe she should just close her eyes and end the extreme pain she was feeling and put herself into God's hands . She was exhausted and sad. Sad because she knew she could never write her true love story ; because she knew she was already deep in love with someone she couldn't be with . A tear finally trickled down her porcelain face ; the feelings she had surpressed finally found its way out .

She slowly closed her eyes but manage to stay awake when she heard a loud thud and the loud throaty breathing followed by the warmth of his voice . She heard the gasps of the clique and the squeaky footsteps that quickly followed .

''Yuri !!! Yuri !! Please , look at me !'' he exclaimed as he cupped the back of her neck

He saved her . And one thing for sure that she had hopelessly fell in love with him all over again .

''O-onew .....'' she whispered softly as she cupped his face to take one last look at him before passing out with a weak smile on her face

She slowly opened her eyes and whimpered softly at the pain she felt all over her body . She shivered in fear at the thought of the ordeal she faced not long ago and quickly tightened her grip around the blanket . She felt a nudge at her waist and immediatelt covered herself with the blanket

''W-who is it ?'' she mumbled as he eyes remain tight shut

''Hmm... Y-yuri ? You awake ?'' Onew murmured as he woke up and yawned cutely before staring at the frightened girl infront of him

''Don't worry Yul , it's me ,Onew ....'' he reassured and Yuri's shoulder

''O-onew ?'' Yuri peeped out from the blanket and quickly hid back in

''Yul , come on , look at meeee ....'' Onew did his aegyo as he poked Yuri

''OOwiiee .'' Yuri yelped softly

''S-sorry !! I forgot you are in pain ....'' Onew whispered softly as he bowed down apologectically

''Sorry .... I'm the one who created this whole mess .....'' Onew sighed

Yuri popped her head out to face Onew and stared right into his eyes . "Nononono, it's not your fault ...'' Yuri said quickly . Onew smiled as he patted Yuri's head "Yul ah, pabo ah ? You always think about how I feel ....... so caring , so kind and so understanding ....'' he continued as he leaned closer to her  "you never seem to complain whenever you are around me .... "

"And that why I like you .....'' he smiled as he pressed his lips against Yuri's

''Yuri.... what are you thinking about ?'' Jonghyun asked curiously

''Huh ? " Yuri snapped out of her thoughts as she asked

"Sorry Yuri ..... I know you're still mad at me .....'' Jonghyun sulked

''Yah, it's not your fault !! They were the one who bashed you up .... so why are you apologising to me ?'' Yuri chuckled as she ruffled Jonghyun's hair

''Okay ....'' Jonghyun grinned

''Thanks for everything today Yuri .....'' Jonghyun shyly said

''Aigoo . I promised you I'll protect you from now on didn't I ?'' Yuri smiled

''Yuri .... do you want me to send you home ?'' Jonghyun asked sincerely

''Nah, I wan't planning to go home just yet !'' Yuri smirked "I need some fun too yah noe ~'' Yuri chirped as she laughed . "Forget it ! You are still too innocent for that ....'' Yuri smiled at the clueless Jonghyun

'' Oh wait . I guess I should accompany you home first .....''

''It's okay Yuri , I could go home-"

''No buts !!! Nobody could stop me from doing what I want ! Like I said , I'm protecting you from now on !!!'' Yuri winked as walked on

''Whatchu waiting for ? Let's go !'' Yuri turned back as she hurried Jonghyun to catch up .

''Yuri .....'' Jonghyun mumbled as he looked at the gorgeous girl infront of him

''C-can I hug you ?'' Jonghyun flushed red as he hung his head down low

''.......''

''It's okay if you -'' Then, he felt a pair of hands around his waist . ''So that's how it feels being hugged ....'' Jonghyun unknowningly blurted . Yuri giggled at his comment and tightened her grip around Jonghyun

"Yah, don't you think it's alittle awkward without you returing my hug ?'' Yuri chuckled

''O-oh , sorry , It's been a long time since I had hug a girl ....'' Jonghyun replied as he gentily placed his hands around Yuri's back

''Aigoo , are you hugging an elephant or human ? You are barely even touching me !'' Yuri smiled as she pulled Jonghyun's hand towards her waist and secured it around it tightly

''There , that's more I like it !'' Yuri giggled as she rested her head onto Jonghyun's chest

''How does it feels like ?'' Yuri whispered

''I- i - think - my h-heart -coming -out ....'' Jonghyun replied honestly earning him a laugh

"Thank you .....'' Jonghyun whispered softly that it was barely audible to Yuri

"What is this weird feeling ?" Jonghyun thought
