“Wahhh how long is it since the last time I rode your car? A month?” Bo Mi giggling.

“Why? Did you like it very much? I could get you one.” Tao said while driving his car moving to Bo Mi shooting set.

“Sheesh. You really know how to talk. It’s not even necessary for me.” Bo Mi take a sip of her morning coffee and look around the car. Then, she found a pile of file at the back passenger seat.

“What are those?”

Tao take a quick glance at the back.

“Ah. Company files.”

“You still manage it? Do you even have time to check all those? Didn’t you have a lot of practice already?”

“This is the fate of being the only child in the family. I’m not that devil to let my father to take care all of those. I’m just helping him a little.”

“Really? ‘Fighting’ Huang Zi Tao!” she turned herself back but something bothering her.

“Are you okey?”Tao asked. Bo Mi just smiled and linked her arm to Tao’s arm.

“Can I take a look at those file? Pleaseeeeee.”

“Did you even know what the heck it was about?”

“Yah! I’m not that stupid! Plus when I was in university, I studied business okey? Business!”

“Really? Holll. Then you’re just as same as me. But those files are confidential. I can’t let just anybody to take a look at it.”

Bo Mi pushed away his arm and crossed her arm against her chest.

“Stingy..”she said slowly thought Tao didn’t heard her.

“No I’m not!”

“Yes you are!”

“Didn’t I just said to you it was confidential. CONFIDENTIAL!”

“Didn’t  you trust me? I’m your girlfriend! And I never had any intention to leak it to any company!”she still begging to Tao.

“Then tell me..if I let you to read all of those files, will you be my wife then?”

Tao question shocked her out. She fall from being noisy to mute for a long time.

“You’re not willing to?!”Tao said in unbelieveable. For him, if Bo Mi keep quiet just bring two meaning. Angry or it’s a no.

“It’s not like that..it’s just..we...still young and have a long journey to go. Someday I will.”

Bo Mi face turn to hot red. Tao can smile back when he heard it.

“Ahh I didn’t mean that we marry in these nearest time. I’m just asking.”

“Then..can I now?” Bo Mi already glancing at the file.

Tao just let out a sighed and just follow what her wished. In a dash Bo Mi took a file and read through it.

“Resort? In Maldive? Daebak!”

“You like it that much?”

“Yah! It’s Maldive..Maldive. Which women doesn’t want to go there? Did you own it?”

“Never had any intention to take over the company. I’m just a pauper who work under the king.”

“Yeah right. A rich pauper!” Bo Mi turned her attention back to the proposal. When Tao didn’t pay attention to her, sneakily she took a pen and wrote something on it.

“I’m really curious about something...”

Tao words make Bo Mi go anxious. Quickly she closed the file and throw it back to its usual place.

“Yes? What was you saying?”

“I’m just curious...if I’m not a heir of my father company and I’m just a normal guy..will you still love me?”

Bo Mi couldn’t answer his question. Tao kind of disappointed with her but he didn’t showed it clearly on his face. They didn’t say a single word until they arrived at their destination. Bo Mi pretended like nothing happened, took her bag and get herself out from the luxurious car.

“Did you date me because of my property, Yoon Bo Mi?”

When he was about to reverse his car, Bo Mi knocked his mirror.

“Did you left something?” Tao asked.

“If you’re even willing to throw your throne for me, I’m more than willing to throw my career and be poor with you.”she said it out to Tao. Her faced turn red after saying it.

“T-Then..everybody was waiting for me. I’ll make my move first. Thanks for the ride.” She walked back to the building and wave a goodbye to Tao.

“I'm sorry Bo Mi. I'm sorry.”

“Tell me the truth Ji Ah..what is wrong with you? What kind of disease did you have actually?” Mr. Hwang asked Ji Ah.

“It’s nothing sir. Just a small matter. Nothing serious.” Calmly she answered her boss question.

“Nothing you say? Did you know what the reporter write about you on the newspaper? They say you become a mistress to some of rich guy and was pregnant his child. Explain to me at once Meng Ji Ah.” Mr. Hwang on fire this time.

“They know nothing about me and you just believed it all? Like I said earlier, there’s nothing wrong about me. I’m fine like you can see now.”

“Fine you said? You just like a walking dead today and you even dare to say nothing hell is wrong with me.”

“I clearly said I’m not even pregnant nor I was sick! It’s just happened there! What could I do?!” she let out her anger without conscious to her boss. Her boss just stared at her.

“I apologize...” Ji Ah said.

“You are not in your mind today Ji Ah. You never speak this way to me. Except for Bo Mi. She always throw her tantrum towards me. Just go and have a good rest for a week.” Mr. Hwang just answered it in simple way and clearly.

“What? Then what about my work? I have a shooting today and the day after that. I was fine and I can go to work normally.”

“After all of these scandal you even dare to turn and show your face? Just let this be gone naturally and up until then, never exposed yourself, Ji Ah. Hear my advice or you will regret it.”

Ji Ah never agree to it but the was the truth beyong Mr Hwang words. People might still talked behind her back now. Showing herself now will only bring stress to her.

“Then..who’s the one that replaced me?”

“They asked for Yoon Bo Mi so I just send her off today. She didn’t called me this morning so it must be ‘yes’ from her.”

“Bo Mi you said?”Ji Ah asked in disbelief.

“Yes. You didn’t misheard it.”

Ji Ah clutch her hand tightly to keep her anger from bursting. It feel like she had gave Bo Mi an opportunity to be a step ahead from her.

“I’ll take my leave then.”

“Of course. Go and have a nice rest.”

She walked out from the room. And as soon as she shut the door closed she took out her phone and called for someone.

“It’s me Ji Ah. I want you to get rid of the reporters that let out the statement on the news today. All of them! Don’t even let a single of them get away, did you hear me?!”she screamed.

“Yes ma’am.”Then,she call off her phone.

“Bo Mi, why you always get in my way everytime? I’ll make sure that you will regret it this time.”

“Ahhh like seriously unni?! Why did you drag me along at here?”Bo Mi screaming to So Ra.

“Isn’t Ji Ah is your friend? Well you didn’t even have any schedule after this, so there is no hurt to join her birthday party right? She even invited me to come along too.”So Ra said happily without considering Bo Mi feeling.

“Unni..you’re too much. Actually what your motive anyway? You want to meet up with super duper rich future husband?”

So Ra just smiled awkwardly at Bo Mi. She totally caught red handed by Bo Mi.

“Just  this one okey? Don’t you want to see me being single for the rest of my life, hmm?”

Bo Mi rolled her eyes, can’t said anything with So Ra behaviour.

“Just this time unni! And I’m deadly serious won’t involved with Ji Ah anymore after this!”

In a dash, So Ra linking her arm around Bo Mi and they went into the ball room, just to be surprised Ji Ah came to welcome them.

“I’m totally grateful with your presence Bo Mi. My main guest for tonight.”

“Stop being fake Ji Ah. Anyway I come by just because of So Ra unni. Not because of you.”

“It’s okey by that. Just enjoyed yourself here. Then, I’ll take my leave first. The main event going to start now.”

Ji Ah walked away to the crowded of people. And to Bo Mi surprised, So Ra too already vanished from her vision. Maybe going to meet up some man that maybe be her ‘future-husband-to-be’. She took a glass of cocktail from the waiter and walked around the hall.

“Hmm? Isn’t that Tao? He could have told me he come here..”

When she was about to get to him, her attention was derived to the stage, where Ji Ah began to speak.

“I’m sorry to take your time ladies and gentleman. I’m very honoured to all of you for your presence. So now the game already over for all of us as all of us know right? Because of that, I would like to call upon the winner of this whole 3 month game, Huang Zi Tao!”she said with her eyes still on Bo Mi to make sure she hear all of it.

Everybody clapping their hand to cheer to Tao, but Bo Mi didn’t get the gist of it. It confusing her. What kind of game that all of them playing? Then she just saw Tao went up on the stage, handed a file document to Ji Ah and Ji Ah gave a sign on it. He then hugged her gently and from afar Bo Mi could know that Tao was saying ‘thank you’ to her. But something make her lose her controlled. She overheard the two girl in front of her talking about the game.

“Poor Bo Mi. She just fall into Tao trapped. Ahhh I can’t think about it anymore! I lose a lot because of him you know? He surely was a professional  poker face. I shouldn’t bid on his lose.”

“You should have known him better. He could do anything to buy the land in Maldive from Ji Ah. Don’t you think it was too short for him to couple with Bo Mi? We should have said 3 years not 3 months. A player is still a player forever. Bo Mi just accidently become one of his prey.”

When she heard it, she lost a grip on the glass and it shattered on the floor, buying attention to all of the guest in the hall. The two girl was in shocked when they knew that Bo Mi was behind them all along, and so to Tao who didn’t even knew about her presence. Quickly, So Ra came to her, worried about her condition.

“Are you okey Bo Mi?”

“Unni..let’s go back now. We’re not fit to be here.” She said to So Ra while her eyes secured to Tao with angst. He tried to catch her up but she was too fast to get out from that room.

“Unni, gave me the key!”

“B-but Bo Mi, what the heck is wrong with you?”

“Just gave it to me right now unni!”

Scared of her anger, quickly So Ra searched for the car key in her bag but as soon as she was about to hand it to Bo Mi, Tao snatch the key first.

“Let’s talk.”

“There is nothing to talk. Give me the key.”Bo Mi demand. At that time, So Ra already take a few step behind, giving them a chance to talk all over.

“I won’t until you listen to me..”

“What else I need to listen?! This whole time I was not more than a toy to you! Aren’t you satisfied yet? Yeah you win all of these game played by your rich friend!”

“That was not true...”

“What word did I said it wrongly? Land in Maldive..did you need it so badly from Ji Ah that you even willing to fake up in front of me?”

Tao says no words and just stand still like a statue in front of Bo Mi.

“Look..you have no answer. Then what about when you saying you want to marry me? What if I marry you? Will you hit a jackpot and even got another piece of land? Man..i’m so stupid!!!!”

Bo Mi took back the key from Tao and went into the car and locked it to prevent Tao from opening it back.

“Bo Mi open up this door immediately! I’m not done..”

“Stop it Tao.” So Ra say from behind.

“I’ll try talk this over with her. Give her some space”

“I’m hoping on you noona..”

So Ra just gave him a short smiled and then she went into the car. Without waiting any minute Bo Mi speed it up, leaving Tao in quandary.
