It is a timeless question, one that can never truly be answered.

But this is merely because there are multiple truths in regards to it.

The experience is different for each person. When you say the word, different images and associations come to mind with each person.

It can be absolutely wonderful, but at the same time it can the most destroying experience in one’s life.

People say they can live without it, but I think that everyone needs it in one form or another.

Mothers, fathers, siblings, significant others, friends, pets, hobbies.

They all provide and bring out different types of this emotion, this affection.

If there’s anything that’s certain about it…there’s absolutely no doubt that its effect can be powerful.
