Kim Jongin: Great football player, admired by both girls and boys and is a polite and well-mannered person. Someone like him should have a ton of friends and of course best friends, however, Kim Jongin is a loner. In his mind, he doesn't need anyone nor does he want anyone. He believes that he can tackle the world all on his own. This is all due to self-experiences which led to Jongin shutting down and effectively developing a defence wall to protect himself from being hurt. All his high school life, it's been simple. Just studies and rugby. 

Kim Jongin's known Do Kyungsoo ever since the beginning of high school. Do Kyungsoo is his class mate and rugby mate. Kyungsoo and Jongin work closely together on the field, yet, they don't know each other at all.
