Never Good Enough
Description
Jinri figures that she was just never good enough.
Not for Jongin, not for f(x), and not even for herself.

And it stings, being told that. She has worked hard, sacrificed her blood, sweat, and tears, and has paved her way with her own hands.
To have people disregard all of that like they know something about her that she herself does not- that’s what hurts the most.

He tells her not to leave him behind.
(She ends up telling him the same thing three years down the line.)

They are no longer just Jinri and Jongin, but Sulli and Kai- they have names to carry, rules to follow, and images to uphold.
But once upon a time- they really were just Jinri and Jongin.
He never lets her forget that.

Never Good Enough
This is brought on and inspired by all the negative posts that I have seen in the Sulli tag on tumblr. It is more of a Sulli-centric than it is a KaiLli one shot (that got changed into a three-shot because it turned into a monster and ran away from me while I was writing it), but Jongin plays a big part in this ;3

(omg my rant on this whole issue.)
She may not be my official bias, but I am pretty much up to here with all the talks of her being “talentless” and “useless” and “only cute”- or “not even worth being the visual”.
I know everyone is entitled to their own opinions and that not everyone can like everyone, but to all the haters that have been making posts on tumblr about how useless she is- please just shh. Shhhhhhh.
It hurts the people that do stan and adore her. And I don’t want to be rude or anything, because it’s not like I can change your opinion if you’re already dead set on disliking her, but please keep those opinions to yourself. It’s not constructive criticism or anything along those lines when you’re just stating how useless she is. She is a member of f(x), and f(x) would not be the same without her. There is no “useless” member in f(x). Everyone has room for improvement as well, and even if she cannot sing or dance as well as the other four members, that does not mean that she is talentless or only cute. She may be outshined in those areas, but she is far from the talentless and worthless person that you people make her out to be.
And she is still a person. With feelings. She is someone who can’t always take criticism with a smile, can feel insecure, can get depressed. Please keep that in mind, because all of those comments can hurt not only her, but the rest of f(x) as well.
So please. Shh.
