Foreword

Hyuk Jae’s POV:

My body’s sweating a lot. My hands are shaking. My eyes kept on gazing outside the restaurant. Would she come? Am I too nervous? Oh, if only I could stop myself from being too obvious.

Hyuk Jae took his phone and called Ae Chan…

Ae Chan’s POV:

Love oh babe my girl… Her phone is ringing…

Omo! I’m late. I hope he won’t get mad. Ooh, silly me!

                Answers her phone…

“Neh? Oppa, hello?” I said upon answering the call.

“Ae Chan-sshi, where are you? I-I’m..” he asked but then I interrupted him.

“Wah! Don’t ask. Yeah, I know I’m late. I’m so sorry. I’ll be there in a flash. Wait for me, okay?” I told him.

                “Eh? O-okay!”

“See you then,” I replied then ended the call.

Hyuk Jae’s POV:

Ahh, that clumsy lady. Waiting for her makes me more pressured. How will I do this?

Ae Chan’s POV:

Ae Chan arrives in the restaurant…

Oh no! I think he’s mad. Thirty minutes of waiting is no joke! He’s even from corner-to-corner of the restaurant.

                “H-Hyuk Jae!” I called out.

Hyuk Jae’s POV:

She’s here!  How do I look? Agh! My heart’s beating fast.

“Wooh! Running is not a good idea. Happy anniversary Hyuk Jae, my love!” she greeted me with a hug and a kiss on the cheek. She handed a box as a gift after.

“Hmmm…that’s sweet. Thanks for the gift, love! Happy anniversary!” I replied then kissed her on her forehead. “Now, let’s eat.”

I brought her to her chairs and then the dinner was served.

Ae Chan’s POV:

I love the dinner. It was the best. It made our anniversary more romantic. We kept on talking on how our day passed.

“Don’t you think it’s time to talk about something else?” he suddenly asked.

“Eh? Wh-what do you want to talk about now?” I replied.

                “Like-Like marriage, family…the future, you know…”

“Wah, oppa, why are you shaking?” I asked. I can see that he’s uneasy.

He looked at me and took my hand. He knelt in front of me, brought out a small box and opened it.

“Will you please marry me?” he uttered.

Hyuk Jae’s POV:

I don’t know what else to say. What if she won’t accept it? What shall I do? She’s just staring at me. I have to say something.

“I-I…I love you. My world simply belongs to you. There’s no way I would want to escape from a life that I could spend with you. You are my eternity. Accept me and my love. But, but if…in case…if you are not yet…uhmm, ready, it’ll be alright. You don’t have to rush on deciding,” I said to her.

Ae Chan’s POV:

Wah! My head’s floating in the air. I can see a rainbow and some birds chirping on a tree. Am I dreaming? Or I’m already in heaven?

“Th-this is insane! You-you’re making me crazy!” I replied. I said it with all my feelings in thrown in it. It’s true. I think I’m loosing my brain.

“S-so does this mean you won’t marry me?” he replied. This time, I’m back to my senses.

“Huh? No! Of course not!” I said.

“No, as in you’re not marrying me?”

“No, as in, yes, I would.”

                “I don’t understand,” he complained.

“I mean, yes. I would like to marry you. I will live my eternity with you. Duh? Like I would let you go!” I answered.

Hyuk Jae’s POV:

“You’re kidding right? You must be joking. You’ll marry me? Really?” I said.

I can’t believe what I heard. It was like, I see myself going home and seeing her holding a baby while cooking with some family picnics on weekends. Oh shoot! She’s about to say something.

“Is this just a joke? Is there a hidden camera somewhere? Tell me, are you really asking me to marry you?” she asked.

                “Yeah, I am!”

“Then let’s get married now!” she exclaimed.

I pulled her and took her by the waist.

Ae Chan’s POV:

This is heaven. He pulled me onto his arms and stared at me. His eyes were sparkling.

“Then, may I now kiss the bride?” he whispered.

“Do the honors…” I said then giggled.

The night lasted with our passionate kiss and hopes of a better future as we imagine ourselves wearing our wedding rings.
