Juyeon x Uie

She stared at the post-it note on her mirror. Nothing new, just the same old message everyday.

“Breakfast is on the table. I’ll be home late. I love you.”

Juyeon smiled bitterly at the note before crumpling it and throwing it into the bin.

As stated, breakfast was on the table. Being the shikshin she is and not wanting to disappoint her girlfriend, she ate the cold pancakes in silence. Her mind was busy coming up with possible reasons as to why her girlfriend has been coming home late.

1.She’s cheating on you.

2.She has a lot of work to finish at her company.

3.She just got promoted therefore more work.

4.She’s cheating on you.

5.She’s cheating on you.

6.She found someone better.

Juyeon was frustrated with her brain. She hated how recently she’s been thinking Uie has been cheating on her. She decided to just pay Uie a visit at her workplace just to clear her mind.

“Ms Kim Uie?”

“Yeah?”

“I’m Park Sooyoung from Seoul General Hospital. Are you affiliated to a lady by the name of Lee Juyeon?”

“Yes. What’s wrong?”

“Ms Lee was involved in a car accident earlier and she’s currently in the operating theatre. She-“ The receptionist didn’t even get to finish her sentence because Uie had cut her off.
