“So what are you reading now?” he asked, squatting next to you.

You smiled and showed him the cover.

“Oh, Atonement.”

You nodded.

“Another favorite of mine. What part are you at?”

You blushed. It was the scene, but you didn’t have to say. He understood.

“Oh, okay. Well, enjoy. I mean, yeah. Okay.” He turned and walked away, red in the cheeks.

You giggled.
