In the country of Ancestoria, there is a competition that occurs annually every year which is always the talks of all the towns, the people, and the papers. It's called the Marriage Wars and the only people allowed to participate in it are current princesses in power and their suitor, who is (supposed to be) their future husband. Why is such a competition a big deal anyways? It seems like something people would just gloss over and deem it unnecessary but the prizes are far from small. Whoever wins the competition will earn a spot on the Royal Council, the country-wide board that oversees all things happening in Ancestoria and are the people with the most power throughout all the land. The requirement for a spot on the Council is that each member must be married or engaged, as one of it's beliefs are "a good relationship will foster decision making skills and how to get along with others." This why they hold the competition and make it mandatory for all princesses to participate with their husband-to-be. With such a tradition, it's obvious that for as many people there are that support the idea, there will be just as many who are against the competition and it just so happens that this year's competition will show both of these sides like never seen before.

hahah hahahhahaah why the hell am i posting this up i am actually dumb wow but i have too many ideas not to act on them so this is the result of that + me not wanting to do homework. you get a princess fic from me because who don't like and/or want to be a princess??!?!!?!?! anyways, this apply fic won't be like the rest (as far as i know?) because instead of applying for plot lines or a love interest right from the beginning, you'll just be making standalone characters. now, that probably sounds confusing but the gist is that you'll create a character that can shine on her own and is her /own/ person. later on when the story starts, i'll write the chosen applicants interacting with all the potential love interests (aka exo) and i'll leave it up to what the readers think would best match who (aka who they ship) in addition to who i think would work best. however, i will give you a chance to rank all the exo members in the order that you'd want them to be your preferred love interest. i'll try to explain better in future chapters but for now, i just want to put this up to generate interest. i have no idea when i'll start it tbh because i have like four other fics to write but i want to do this badly because i like what i have going for it, so i hope this follows through~ thank!

hi everyone so I'm definitely too lazy to change those gifs right now lol but yeah hey wow cassidy posted another apply fic?? big surprise right?? actually I can't take any credit for this one but I assure you all I jumped on board the assistant ship (as usual) as soon as I heard the word "princesses". so yep I think this one will be really especially cute so please apply whenever apps go up!! I don't really have much else to say about this, so as usual thanks everyone for your interest and kawaii apps :*
edit; actually before the cheat sheet/app goes up I just want to add, because of the lack of specific love interests, I think this gives applicants a really good opportunity to really focus on the characterization of their girls. I think sometimes people get more wrapped up in writing the relationship between their character and their love interest, and as a result the relationship can become kind of a mold for their character, rather than their character being the basis for the nature of their relationship. so please keep this in mind when writing your applications and remember that there are no inhibitions here! I think it will be really fun seeing how everyone's characters and their relationships play out naturally. |
