A story about two people sharing the same past, but while one of them wants to hold onto it dearly, the other wants to let it all slip out of his fingers. Maybe life was meant to be cruel all this time, meant to crush fragile hearts and enjoy the sight of the shining pieces. Justice always seems so far away when you really need it, yet so close when you hardly deserve it. If one was born in another time, another place, would one still have the same destiny? Then, if one person could go back into time, change one little thing, would one be able to escape destiny? Or was it destiny all the time? Then, was it destiny that these two people met each other again? Was it cold mercy, providing them a chance to speak up?

Dear ja jie jie, this one is for you. Yes yes, I know, you must be shocked right? Well, this was supposed to be your replacement birthday present because that 'Tonight's your lucky night' story is still waiting to be written, and I just could not take it not to give you anything. I had been working on this one... Quite some while, and I almost gave it up when I was busy studying for my exam (that I failed miserable nevertheless lol). But I still wanted to finish it, still wanted to complete something, and then we talked about certain things and this story could finally get dragged out of Hades' embrace and get to see daylight. This piece is not perfect, really is not. I was just typing, typing, typing, hoping it would not turn into someting longer than a oneshot, but of course it did. I spent hours on this one, eyes getting tired like crazy, but I think it was worth it (I'll just go to sleep after this lol). This story... Is quite something. It's not a plot I came up with on my own, for I got hugely influenced by the series 'Seasons of Love' which I told you about already. So it was not even the story plot that was so special. But I originally wanted to write a story for you with... Kris and Chanyeol, was it, right? And Kris would be a superstar. This story was supposed to be called superstar. But then I changed it into Kai, because I just felt it should be Kai. I did not even know whether you liked Kailu, but well yeah, you did not seem to mind it that much when I told you, lol, so I should be safe. It really is the meaning behind this story that means so much to me. Quite honestly, TVB series these days are full with drama and all, but it has something in it, something that continued to gnaw at my heart. So this story was born. Brace yourself for a rollercoaster ride, jie, because this is craziness at its highest. I wanted to post everything at once, but you are really impatient (as always) so I will try to post the four chapters one by one, hopefully everything tonight, but yeah, here you go. This story is heavily inspired by the Cantonese TVB series 'Seasons of Love', by Avril Lavigne's Remember when, by Taylor Swift's Superstar, and I am sure by a lot of other things. So all the credits to these inspiration sources, and I own absolutely nothing haha. Also, this is a kailu story with kaisoo. This story is mostly fail angst.
