Saviour
Years passed. I never came back to my house.
I started a new life, a family.
I had a daughter, Maggie.
She's now 16, an active and energetic teenager.
Sometimes I stopped and pondered.
I thought about the horrible things that started when I was 16.
I thought about how I wouldn't have Maggie and have a wonderful family.
If I just tied that rope to the tree and ended it all.
I would cry. Once more.
But then someone would wipe my tears away.
