I kissed his cheek and pulled back.
Suddenly he looked at me and was speechless.

GG: Aaron..
A: Gui... Im sorry..
GG: W...what?
A: Im...

i sat there waiting patiently each passing moment pierced my heart.

A: I have to give up on you.

Suddenly tears rolled down my eyes and my heart sunk to the floor.

A: Gui... your hurt because of me.
GG: No! Aaron! I--
A: Gui please don't cut... and please don't cry for me.
GG: -crying- Aaron...
A: Wu Ying Jie... I'm sorry.-tears b at his eyes-

He looked away and walked out the room
i didn't understand why he did such a thing.
The day... was Feb 13.

days...weeks...months later

My best friend disappeared.
I never ran into him in the halls.
i never saw him once in the streets.
No death reports..
No missing reports..

Since that day he told me, my heart hasnt been the same.
My mom was also curious of why he disappeared.
She called Aaron's mom, but she swore to Aaron never to tell.

Ya Tou and Wang Zi came into class holding hands and looked at me
I knew they were talking about me...

A year later, i graduated high school
My best friend not near me on the stage.

Foolishly i sent them off in the mail directly to his house.
I asked his mother never to open them unless he reads them first.
She agreed.

I'm now attending college... In America. Still foolishly writing letters to Aaron
Weird. i knew he would never reply to them.
and even weirder... i knew he never opened a single one.

I was walking across the street on my way to class
My mind focused on school now instead of him
Our memories were lost deeply in my mind.
Someone was there to help me all along.

GG: Crap! Im late!

suddenly a bright flashing light came my way

Guy: Miss! Look out!

I was pushed out the way and the stranger who called my name held onto me.

The fit seemed... familiar.
I washed away my crazy thoughts

GG: Sorry, i'm really sorry!
guy: Its ok -head down brushing himself off-
GG: Really! IM SORRY! ILL PAY FOR EVERYTHING!
Guy: No ma'am, im fine. as long as your-- oh your stuff!

I looked down picking up my stuff

Guy: Here let me help you up

Suddenly the man froze in his spot.
What is he standing there for?
Suddenly i looked up and our eyes met

GG: A....A...Aaron!?

He was still holding onto my arm and immediately let go
He ran as fast as he could and i watching him leave.
Whats he doing here?! America?
I was probably thinking to much right?!
Yeah, thats it! I'm hallucinating!
Aaron cant possibly--

I heard the large bell from my campus and erased the guy out of my mind.

I got to campus and Xiao Gui was waiting by the gate.

XG: Hey!
GG: Hi!

I ran up to him and hugged him

XG: Where were you?
GG: hmmmm... no where.

I smiled ad we walked off hand in hand.
He helped me forget Aaron.
Xiao Gui... Helped me move on

XG: Dinner tonight right?
GG: Sure thing!
XG: I love you ghost.
GG: I love you too, ghost

I smiled at him and i felt wrong.
i used those three words so lightly with him
He leaned in for a kiss but i kept walking ignoring it.
