Gui Gui's POV

My names Wu Ying Jie. but please, call me Gui Gui.
I have pretty good grades... B average.

Is it crazy to say i'm in love with him?
i starred out the window

Well... I am.

Teacher: Aaron Yan Ya Lun?

I turned to look at the person teacher called.

Aaron: Here.

Aaron... That was him.
A+ average, so called hottest guy in school, yet he was
My best friend...

Dont get me wrong, i have other friends!
Like, Ya Tou... and Mei Mei
But... I've known Aaron the longest so he knows years more than anyone else does.

We met when we were about three years old.
It was a day at the park.
Our mothers are the best of friends.
My mom gave birth to me at a very young age.
She was only 19 at the time. Just graduated from High School.
My father... I cant remember him...
He died a day before my third birthday.
She raised me all on her own she was my role model.
Aaron on the other hand... had both parents.
I've never met Aaron, but i HAVE met his mom.

I turned back to look out the window and sighed...

[flashback]

Gui's Mom: Gui Gui!
I took my time going down the stairs

Gui Gui: Yes mommy?

GM: We're going to the park today.
GG: Alright.
GM: Your going to meet a friend today.
GG: A...friend?
GM: Your first friend.

Happily i took her hand and we walked to the park.

I sat on the swings going slow...
Suddenly a slight push and i was in the air..
I turned to look at who it was that gave me the push i needed.
The swings stopped and the boy sat next to me.

Boy: Hi.
GG: ...hey.
Boy: Whats your name?
GG: Wu ying Jie...
Boy: I'm Aaron

he smiled and held out his hand for me to shake...
I took it.

Aarons mom and my mom walked over to us smiling happily.

Aaron's Mom: Hey Ying Jie
GG: Uhm... You can call me Gui Gui Auntie...
A: Gui...? Gui...?

I nodded and he laughed.

A: I want to call you that too!
I laughed and smiled at him

GM: You two can play then...

They walked off and sat at a bench talking and enjoying the nice summer day.

A: Wanna play hide and seek?
GG: Sure...

I was about to volunteered to be it, since i was ALWAYS it.
But Aaron suddenly said HE would be it.
It was different. No one volunteered to be it. i was always forced.
I ran all around the play ground to hide.

It was getting late and Gui Gui let me spend the night at Aaron's house.
We all got in Aunties car and drove to their house. 
My mom kissed me goodbye and left.

Aaron's mom showed me the guest room.
Since they didn't have much guests, they made it my room.
They were much richer than i was.

In the middle of the night i screamed
Having small memories of my dad playing in my head.
a picture of him with a pool of blood played.
i screamed loud enough to wake only Aaron.

He ran into my room and hugged me tight.

A: It's ok... I'm here.. I'll protect you... Shhh...

he rocked me back and forward until i fell asleep.

The class bell rang and it woke me from my day dream.
I walked out and Aaron's arm was across my shoulder.
Each day.. feelings for him progress
and i decide to hold it in.
for 15 years... i've held it in.
