My Slice of Life 2: Love has no Boundaries
Description
A story between two people of different race, cultures, traditions and language. Momoko Yukimura and Kim Jonghyun finally meets when Momoko visited Korea. The two have been talking on a social networking site for 4 years now but they've never known each other personally. Kim Jonghyun visited Japan 3 years ago but the two weren't able to meet because Jonghyun visited Tokyo and not Momoko's hometown. A few months after his visit to Japan, Jonghyun served the army for 2 years. The communication between the two still continued even during those times. It never stopped until finally, a year after their continuous online chatting, Momoko tells Jonghyun that she'll be visiting Korea.
Foreword
I love Korea. I love their food, their music and just everything about it. I've been wishing to visit the country every time I blow out the candles during my birthday. On my 21st birthday though, it came true. It was the happiest day of my life because finally, I'll be able to meet a Korean friend I've been talking to about Korea almost everyday.
His name is Kim Jonghyun. I found him on a social networking site randomly while browsing people. I added him as soon as I found out he was Korean. I wanted a friend who'll talk to me about that country and I'm lucky because he was friendly and nice. He knows a bit of Japanese too. It was a good thing. Anyway, I've been talking to him for 4 years and we've gotten really close. We share the most randomest things online and we're not awkward with each other. Sometimes I feel shy but he makes every conversation comfortable. I like that about him. 3 years ago we almost met because he told me he's going to Japan. Unfortunately, it didn't become possible because he went to visit Tokyo. I lived far from the city and that hindered our supposed to be first meeting.
After a few months when he visited Japan, he told me he was going to serve in the army for 2 long years. I felt a bit down when I found out because I thought we won't be able to talk to each other anymore. I was happy we still did. Although sometimes it took a lot of time for him to reply, I still waited for it patiently.
Another year passed and when I turned 21, the most precious thing was handed over to me. It was the ticket to Korea I've been waiting and wishing for all my life.
I told Jonghyun about the good news and when he replied he told me: 'Finally, we'll be able to meet.'
