Chapter 1: I read the sequel about ten minutes ago before I found this. When I did I burst into tears just on the description. it continued as a steady stream for the duration of the reading. Then I found this and it started again. I don't understand what it is about this that hits me so hard. I never cry, but there are tears falling on my pillow. What.

Chapter 1: I feel like a doof for not knowing you had started posting your stories and so here I am, late, but here because I really did want to read them, and woah, this just broke my heart. ;-;

So I listened to the song, because I feel if the author intended me to hear a song while reading their fic, I should listen to the song and wow, that provided the perfect backdrop of sadness. This was so heartbreaking. Everything about this was so magnificently heartbreaking. It was short, but it got across all of the emotions of melancholy to just pure sadness in the perfect progression. From a literary perspective, I adored your repetition of 'I don't understand...' because it really helped to show how Minho is coping, or the lack thereof of coping on his part. He's so broken over this, and his only closure is in the fact that he doesn't understand it. He doesn't understand any of it, because in the forward he seems to think their safe. And while he never explicitly says it, clearly he blames himself for letting Tae go back. Another thing you did amazingly was portraying his emotions without saying too much. In the subtleness of the writing, so much more is said. From a readers perspective, the story was just so sad. So much sadness and the way you built from them playing around in the car, to Minho's almost promise proposal, to past the funeral and the burying, and eventually to his musings on the nickname just really beats in the depressing aspect of the story. The part with the most impact in my opinion is the very end though, when Minho says that he never meant for Taemin to be his 'teen angel' in the sense that he is now. And then the lyrics following just ended the story on the right note. I loved this, you're writing is incredible and your incorporation of song and story were flawless.

Chapter 1: T^T Feels are flying everywhere...Oh taeminnie you pabo why would you go back (he was going to propose!)!? >.< Song inspired fics are always so heartbreaking. Lovely writing :)
