Part 1.
Late Working Antics
Choi Seunghyun was quietly sitting on his office chair. He had been one of the very first to get to work in the morning, but then again, it was always that way. With a cup of hot cocoa (he would get it himself in order to save some embarrassment) and the sight of the tall skycrapers colliding with the pale blue sky, he would be more than ready for the long, working hours ahead of him.
Truthfully speaking, Seunghyun was quite bored of his job, he was tired of the repeating routine and seeing the saem faces over and over again, all of them rushing back and forth by his office door, and not to mention the never-ending phone calls and meetings which were the cause for his undying desire to plant a bullet in his own head.
As if that weren't enough, his former secretary had been a stunning woman with a great personality, but once she got an offer to become the opening act on a travelling road show, she had dissapeared without a trace but a half-filled resignation paper on his desk.
Not that he mourned much, though. As stunning as she had been, she had not been his type, so he quickly requested for the board to hire him a new secretary. Someone who perhaps would not leave any kind of half-filled documents on his desk.
There was a sudden knock on the door, and as Seunghyun turnd around to see who it was, Seungri's head popped inside.
"What do you want this early in the morning?" Seunghyun sighed as he looked at his younger co-worker.
"Hyung, your new secretary is here." Seungri chimed.
Upon hearing those words, Seunghyun's back straightened: "Well, what are you waiting for? Send her in."'
"...Are you 100% sure you want me to do that?" Seunghyun grunted at Seungri's childishness. "Hyung, you still have some time to save yourself. You can call in sick, or I can say you already found a new secretary, but trust me when I say, you do not want this secretary. He is a ditz."
He? Seunghyun hadn't expected his new secretary to be a man, but perhaps having a male secretary would prevent his erted, lonely co-workers from whistling every time he passed by with a secretary on his heels. And having a ditzy secretary was far better than having no secretary at all, he knew that much.
"Just send him in." He ordered. Seungri shrugged and shot him a do-not-blame-this-on-me kind of glance, and got out of the way in order for Seunghyun's new secretary to enter the big office.
A dark-skinned, young man entered the room. He looked as if he had rushed his way to work in the morning, and his smile made his eyes almost invisible. Seunghyun was surprised the secretary didn't bump into any objects as he made his way to his desk.
Soon enough, the secretary was bowing 90 degrees down and saying: "Good day, my name is Kang Daesung, it will be a pleasure working for you."
Seunghyun froze. Everything from the secretary's funny voice to his messy hair was proof enough that this would not end well.
Looking for something else to stare at, his vision travelled past Daesung, and focused on Seungri, who was standing by the door, pointing a gross finger at him as he feigned laughter. Damn him.
