Summary: "If I could be an object, I would be a pair of wooden chopsticks for Shim Changmin." This is basically a story that takes place during one of the recordings of Chitchat with Beatiful Ladies a.k.a Minyodurlae Suda Season 1, a famous talk show aired on KBS World.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This is actually a repost and some of you might have come across this story here. My friend, Maya, has posted this story here 2 years ago (in 2009, I think), and this is actually my writing for my Creative Writing class. I gave it to her so that she could share and she hasn’t been posting ever since. I can prove it to you that it’s originally my work if you want, so there should not be an issue of plagiarism here. I just thought I’d share what I have. About Maya, she has stopped writing for quite some time already, and she has deleted all her stories here as well.
Foreword
“If I were an object, I wouldn’t want to be anything else but a pair of chopsticks. Ridiculous, huh? I know it’s crazy but it’s true. You know how he likes to eat, right? How he really loves food and always keeps some chopsticks in his bag, just in case there’s something to eat. It seems to me that chopsticks are the second most important things in his life aside from Dongbangshinki. And I always tell myself how lucky I was if I could be as important to him. How I could feed him and care for him. Even if I were merely a pair of chopsticks. I always think of being those fancy and colorful ones but if he’s going to get embarrassed by me being so fancy, I don’t mind being the plain wooden ones. As long as I could be close to him, I don’t mind anything.”
