Joe was having troublesome thoughts of his own.   The six team members sat in a limousine, cruising through the twists and turns of the road.   Niel was unusually silent, Changjo was tense, and Chunji kept subconsciously glancing over at his friend. Though L. Joe was sitting right beside him and they were finally all reunited, the Andromedas felt no sense of peace. They were all antsy in one way or another and were unsure of how to act around someone who felt like a stranger now.   Five pairs of eyes were all glued to the blond, who stared blankly out the window. Though he was physically inside the car, his heart was somewhere else. Anyone who took a closer look at him could tell that his seemingly normal gaze was tightly woven with depression, his lips were laced with a very unnoticeable frown, and his overall body language screamed out the fact that he didn’t want to be there at all.   The blond could hear nothing but one very distinct sound outside – rain.   His eyebrow twitched very slightly at the word.   A thick silence coated the air, and no one dared to break it.   CAP felt a sharp jab against his arm. His wary gaze flickered up to see a fed-up Chunji.   ‘Say something!’ He mouthed.   CAP blinked obliviously before glancing around at the sullen faces surrounding him. Perhaps Chunji was right. He should say something to ease the tension – he was the leader, after all.   But just as he was pondering over what to say, the limousine passed by an all-too-familiar clearing. A white, pristine building came into view. Quickly, the car slowed to a stop.   “You have arrived at Andromeda Manor,” an automated voice called out robotically from the front, “Awaiting orders…”   “Open the doors and take the car to the back lot,” CAP commanded.   “Command confirmed,” the baritone voice smoothly replied, and at once, the doors opened. “Please rest well at home, masters.”   The first four – Niel, Changjo, CAP and Chunji – piled out of the car when Ricky turned to notice the blond hyung simply sitting there. Noticing his expressionless face, he nudged him slightly.   “Hyung, we’re here.”   L. Joe bristled awake at the contact and looked around, only to notice Ricky exiting the luxurious car. The blond hesitated for a moment before climbing out of his seat.   As soon as he stepped out of the vehicle, the doors smoothly closed. Byunghun perked up and turned around just in time to hear the engine rev.   “Good day,” the voice replied, and the car drove away with a whir. L. Joe’s eyes widened as he got a good look at the driver’s seat. *How did that happen? There was no driver in the seat.*   Niel noticed his slight interest and helpfully replied, “It has an auto-drive function inside. Hardly anyone drives manually around this area anymore.”   *Oh.* He had been too preoccupied with his own thoughts to notice.   “Remember, hyung – you’re in the land of the evaders now. Our technology isn’t prehistoric like in the healer district.”   “Yeah,” Ricky piped up dramatically, “I thought I was in the dinosaur era or something when we went to go get you!”   “Cars didn’t exist when there were dinosaurs, idiot.” Niel rolled his eyes as Ricky sheepishly puffed up his cheeks, “Whoops, my bad.”   Everyone else managed to crack a small smile at the pair’s antics except for L. Joe. With all the difficult partings today, he couldn’t bear to grin. His soul felt empty without the familiar dark-haired girl with the chestnut eyes by his sidde.   The flecks of light rain spitting down suddenly seemed like they weighed a ton.   “C’mon, hyung,” Changjo put a hand on his shoulder, gently pulling him along to the doorstep, “Everyone’s heading inside.”   Numbly, he followed his guide and stared up at the large, rectangular building. It was structured precisely with white walls. Though it was spitting outside, the sun poked out and cast a dull light on the home, letting light flow through the many windows built into the manor. The tall oak trees surrounding it made a beautiful contrast to the pearly white of the house, and for some reason, the entire building seemed like it was calling L. Joe inside.     “Although I hate to admit it, our manor isn’t as majestic as those from the west,” Chunji began, arms crossed, “But we do have the best security systems and innovations than both the healers and chasers put together.”   “You’ve been there before?” L. Joe seemed surprised.   It seemed like everyone’s gaze flickered inquiringly to the blond, staring at him with slight pity.   “We all have,” Chunji said, eyes staring straight into his. An unreadable expression coated his facial features.   “Enough,” Niel shivered, “Don’t even mention those damned chasers. They disgust me.”   L.
