The chandeliers hung at intervals over the hall, giving the place very much the look of the renovated medieval castle. Long windows lined the walls. A long sweep of stairs went up the right side, carpeted with plush red down the centre and roses decorated along the path. The orchestra played unobtrusively in the background. Most guests stood by talking in small groups. Some sat at the dining tables. The guests are all dress in casually classic formal attires, the men in suits and the women all in elegant gowns. Sora late in dressing after a hard work of organizing the place. She slowly walked downstairs looking around the hall in satisfaction. She put on a smile as others greeted her. She was in search for more of familiar faces. Even though it has been weeks since that night, she still purposely whined and given Leeteuk the cold shoulder after he changed his mind about giving her the surprise... A girl with perfect flaws for the future daughter in-law. Though I think I met her earlier awhile back when I was trying to avoid your plans for me to meet different women. Mr Park asked. He nodded at his father. They all laughed. "Don't you remember? Mother knows best." Mrs Park warned her son. Leeteuk toyed with his champagne glass and Sora didn't lift her head up as she pretend to not have heard. "Yes, sure." She answered. Sora moved and led him through the back halls that were reserved for staffs only. "This way." She glanced back, as he hadn't said a word to her. "He seems not himself tonight or am I thinking too much?" She thought. Taking a narrow set of stairs, she pushed open a white door with a silver plate that read the Rose Room, a place used for mostly brides. Sora switched on the lights and went inside, waiting for Leeteuk to follow before closing the door behind them. The room was quiet and quite large. "Busy much?" He asked, shifting awkwardly as he stood. "A little, but things are in perfect order." She answer. "You look really beautiful tonight." He said. She looked to him as he ran his back hand caressing the side of her face. "I want to talk about the papers." Leeteuk said. "We are talking about that?" Sora asked. Her gaze moved away from his. "You look great in that dress." He whispered. "You mentioned that already." She said. "Oh, I did. But it's true. You're very beautiful." He leaned in and kissed her forehead. "Is that really all on your mind?" She looked to him again. "Actually, I missed you for the past few days we weren't together since we're both been busy. I wanted to let you know I haven't given up on pursuing you. I think it's adorable that you are still whinning about not getting your surprise." He chuckled. "Sure." Sora pouted. His eyes shifted to the direction of her hands. "I think it's better I get back to work." She added. "But, we haven't began talking yet." He said. "I understand. We'll talk tonight, but it seems this isn't the right time after all." She moved. She was torn between staying with Leeteuk to talk and doing her job. But if she stays, she knows it will take longer. "I really do need to go, I'm sorry." She turned to walk and looked back at him. "It's fine, duty calls. I understand. Later then." He walked towards her. Kissing her shoulder instead, he didn't want to kiss her lips to stain her lipstick. Even if he really so badly wanted to. Sora smiled brightly. "Bye." She said. "Bye." He replied, smiling in return. She walked out the door. Leeteuk watched her leave and looked to his watch, sighed. This thing still unresolved between them. But their relationship would be worked out soon enough. He'd make sure of it. It was too special. He'd looked into her beautiful eyes and felt their connection burning between them. Tonight, he was going to ask her...
