CAST

Lexington (Lexy) Whitaker: Lexington is a problem child. She often gets into fights with others at school, even her own closest friends, Matt and Aaron. She’s the last descendant in a long line of powerful witches and is very proud of her family’s seven hundred year-old history. Her only family is her father and she loves him deeply. A large side effect of Lexington’s power is that it takes a physical toll on her body. Small spells will leave her with a nose bleed, larger spells end with her passed out for a few minutes or hours. Then there are the forbidden spells. Those could kill her, but she’s smart enough not to cast those…..or so she claims. Black hair, sky blue eyes, dressing in punk cloths a lot of the time, age 17, Lexy is often overconfident in her powers, even if they it does come with draw backs.

Patrick Whitaker: Lexington’s father. Confined to a wheel chair after a spell her mother cast went wrong. Lexington takes care of him, even though he keeps telling her that he isn’t helpless. He loves his child, but knows her love to use her power will end up with her in the same situation as her mother. Even though he hates to see her leave, he sends Lexington to a friend of her mother’s to help her. His hair is light brown with hints of grey and his eyes are the same shade of blue as Lexington’s are.

Matt: childhood friend of Lexington and also 17. He’s from a warlock family, but his family doesn’t have the history Lexington’s does and he’s not as powerful. Tall, blond, and green eyed, Matt is a heart throb of the school. The draw back to his power is that it leaves him breathless after every spell

Aaron: unlike Matt, Aaron looks and dresses much like Lexington (although his eyes are brown). Age 17 like his friends. Unlike his friends, however, he’s human. This works out well for him, though because he can do without magic and the draw backs he sees affecting his friends. He’s the only human in town, other than Lexington’s father and Matt’s mother, to know about witches and warlocks. Matt and him are the only ones who call (or can call) Lexington by her nickname Lexy and not end up bleeding.

Kim Tae-Sung: old friend of Lexington’s mother and a powerful warlock in his own right. He’s currently training six boys he adopted. After being asked by Patrick Whitaker, he’s also taking in Lexington in hopes of keeping her from turning out just like her mother. The side effect of his power is he gets really sleepy and can often sleep for days after using a spell.

B.A.P: Tae-Sung’s six adopted sons. Called B.A.P by their fellow students, the six are warlocks, but their family history is unknown due to the boys being orphaned at young ages. The oldest are Bang Yong Guk and Kim Himchan at age 20. Next is Jung Daehyun and Yoo Youngjae are 17. Finally, Moon Jongup and Choi Junhong (or Zelo as he likes to be called) are the youngest at 16. At first, the boys are intrigued by Lexington’s level of power, but are quickly put off by her personality and the way she uses her powers. Like all witches and warlocks, the guys suffer from side effects when they use their power. Yong Guk suffers from headaches, Himchan nausea, Daehyun from nosebleeds like Lexington, Youngjae coughing fits (he coughs blood when he uses strong spells), Jongup passes out, and Zelo does a mix of all six.

Lexington’s mother (name will appear in story later): the very reason why Patrick wants his daughter trained by Tae-Sung. It will come up later exactly what happened to her, but for now I’m going to leave you guessing

2NE1: The all-girl gang at the school Lexington and B.A.P attend. Loyal only to their members and their sibling gang BIGBANG, the girls see Lexington’s fighting ability as an asset and ask her to join their group. They aren’t happy with Lexington’s response at first, but they keep a close eye on her in hopes that she’ll join them in time. CL is the leader and 16 along with Minzy while Bom and Dara are 17.

BIGBANG: the official all-boy gang at school. Their loyalty doesn’t go beyond themselves and 2NE1 – well, maybe Lexington. Taeyang was the one who saw Lexington fight and recommended her to 2NE1. BIGBANG doesn’t get along well with B.A.P although no one really knows why that is. G-Dragon is the leader of the gang. He’s 17 along with Taeyang and TOP while Daesung and Seungri are 16. All other information about them can be found in the story (otherwise it could spoil things for new readers)
