"I didn't know..."

Youngjae smiles harshly.

"Of course you didn't."

Daehyun sits a little while longer, thinking over things.

"Well, aren't you going to say anything? Aren't you going to comment on how you're disgusted by me?"

"I'm not disgusted, Jae."

Youngjae flinches as his use of his nickname.

Last time he did, it didn't end well.

Daehyun decided to make his move, swiftly pressing his lips to Youngjae's.

Youngjae kisses back, but then, he smells and tastes the alcohol again.

Youngjae breaks off the kiss, pushing him away.

"Why'd you push me away?"

"Because you're drunk off your , Daehyun. You don't have any feelings for me. It's the alcohol."

"No, it's not."

"Yes it is, Dae."

Daehyun fumbles around, trying to figure out how to convince him.

"How can I prove it?"

"When you're sober, tell me. Stop drinking so damn much."

"Okay."

They sit in awkward silence for a little while longer.

Daehyun suddenly gets up and walks toward kitchen.

Youngjae stares at him, confused.

Opening the pantry and looking through the sparse supply of food, he quickly finds what he's searching for.

Walking back to the couch, he has a familiar looking bag in his hands.

"Do you want to eat some marshmallows?"

Youngjae nodded.

Handing him the squishy white treat, Daehyun pops another one into his mouth.

Both laying sprawled on the couch, they eat.

They stay like that for a while, chewing the pliant little bit of pleasure and not saying a word.

In that time, they're kids again, innocent and naive.

For a small, fleeting moment, they're back in their blanket fort.
