The days in which Kris read the letters from his friend back home, many people started to notice his off behavior. Instead of spending his rare days off out with the members, he would be locked up in his room.

He wasn't reading the letters, however. Instead, he would just sit there and think. Something he hasn't done seriously in a while. He considered writing back to her, but it had been 10 years since she wrote them. She must've forgotten him by now.

"Hyung? What are you writing?" Chanyeol would ask poking his head in the room.

Kris would just shake his head and scribble whatever chicken scratch he placed on the paper. Writing letters didn't seem as easy as she made them seem.

How could she pour out all her feelings like that? He figured that maybe it was because their memories together were so fresh in her mind. Whereas, he was just a block of human flesh with a memory span similar to a goldfish. Their times together were so long ago, but reading the letters, it all seemed so close.

It had been a while since Kris had read another letter. He thought long and hard after the last one. That feeling she talked about, he knew exactly what it was and it tugged at him constantly.
