I never thought that that night will be the last.

I never thought that even before we could make memories together, we reached the end.

It’s so unfair that when we finally realized our feelings for each other, then it’s over.

It’s so unfair… We were in love.

I will still protect her. I still want to listen to her play her guitar; I still want to hear her voice.

I want to make her smile.

I love her.

I love Athena.

After the school year, she told me that she will be having an eye operation. I agreed to her. I supported her decision. She had undergone long process of operations and all those times, I was with her. I want to prove her that I won’t leave her side.

When the time of operation finally came, I was so frustrated to know that her blindness is not like the ordinary ones.

It’s much more complicated than I thought. Athena knew about this.

But she never told me. She never did.

Her parents told me that Athena chose to keep it to herself because she does not want me to worry and be sad.

She loves me.

And I love her.

But Athena is gone.

The processes of operations were very complicated.

And she did not make it.

Athena died.
