TYPE: SHORT STORY (1 TO 3 CHAPTERS)
This is based on a true story.
I had been so inspired by my emotions as I trailed down memory lane and read through my old journals. I had been feeling insecure for a number of reasons. And what better way to turn it all around than to turn it into a story? This is still (of course) a fictional piece, considering I have never met any of these excellent artists. Some of the events are fictional but most are real and the feelings? Beyond real.
Foreword
I felt my lip quiver as the harsh words came from Victoria's mouth. 'No. Don't give them the satisfaction.' As I felt my hands tremble, and my tears began to fall, I let out a small wimper of sadness. I couldn't take it, I just couldn't. I turned around and ran in the opposite direction with all my might.
No one could tell me that kids weren't cruel. That was the biggest lie ever told. I felt a burning sensation in my lungs so I ran into a small cafe nearby. I couldn't hold it anymore. Hot salty tears passed down my cheeks.
I actually did not realize it came out so short. I'll have to edit that later.
