"Stick out your hand," he ordered, lying on the patch of grass beside her. She obeyed, feeling the gentle breeze running through her fingertips.
"What's that?" She asked, a tender smile on her face.
"It's the wind. W-I-N-D." Picking a flower and putting it in her hair, he replied, a tint of smile in his voice.
"Wind. 'Love is like the wind, you can't see it but you can feel it'. Is that true?"
"Why not? You're supposed to feel with your heart, not just see with your eyes. Now let's go back."
Helping her to her feet, he grabbed her stick and placed it in her hands.
"Donghae ah, will I be able to love a man even if I can't see his face?" Jessica wondered out aloud.
"Yes, you will. You certainly will. Trust me for that."
With that, the duo walked into the delight of dusk, fingers intertwined together.

This is a story inspired by a friend of mine. Recently, she was met with a car accident and her vision was being brutally snatched away from her. However, she continued smiling and living her life to its fullest because she loved her life and everyone in it. Hence, I was really touched by this prompt and I have decided to enter in this contest with this story specially dedicated to her. She might not be able to read this story, but I shall read this story to her when it's completed.
Learn to smile, learn to live, learn to love. Even in pitch darkness.
