Ilhoon kept on throwing pebbles to the lake. I hugged my knees to my chest.

“Yah! Ilhoon-ah!” I called him.

“Don’t call me like that!” Ilhoon yelled.

I was frozen. For the first time he yelled at me like that. “Why not?”

"Cuz...." he stopped. Then he turned at me. "Cuz, we're on a date?"

"What's that mean?" I asked.

"Well, we're on a date as a couple right now,..... not a friend and a friend date." he explained.

I blinked. "Urm.... Okey....."

"....." Both of us speechless.

"I think we need to go home." Ilhoon suggested. "We need to get enough sleep for tomorrow."

"Neh. Good idea." I agreed.

We both left without saying goodbye at each other.
