Just a little intro for the story, hope you like it! :D

“ Haneul, I’m going to go get something at the bakery alright?” Hyun Joong’s eyes twinkled. She nodded and laughed softly. She could never understand his love for food, but that was how they became close. “ Aigoo, wants to lose weight but he eats like a pig…” She said as she stared at the chubby figure running towards the bakery.

Minutes later, Hyun Joong rushes out of the bakery with a very satisfied grin on his face. “ Let’s go!” he said and pulled her hand. “  Yah, waee?” she exclaimed.

At the playground…

“ Let’s play a game!” Hyun Joong exclaimed excitedly. Haneul stared at him quietly, a blank expression on her small face.

“ Oh no,” she muttered.

“ Im going to pretend to propose to you,” he said.

BOK!

 Haneul smacked his head with the back of her hand.  “ What type of  game is this!”

“ Haneul ah~ I gotta practice! Must practice being a man! ….” he whined.

“ Yah pabo-joong, you’re still 10!  ”

“ Please Haneul?” he pulled a puppy-dog face+stare and Haneul sighed, giving up.

“ Fine… fine.. I’m crazy for doing this but… I’ll… play,” she sighed and glared at him.

“ I love you Haneul!” he smiled like a little puppy. His chubby face bright.

“ Shut up,” she laughed and shook her head.

Then, tubby Hyun Joong got on his knees and smiled like a little idiot that he is while holding his box of mini donuts.

He got out the pink one, her favourite, stuck out his chest proudly and began singing :

Even though I said it wasn’t possible
I was just afraid that you would think I was careless and hasty
So I kept this a secret from you

Hyun Joong slipped the pink mini donut onto her finger. “ Done!” Haneul’s face was expressionless when he recited his little poem. A hint of pink coloured her face, but thankfully he didn’t notice.

“ Eeee, you’re getting my fingers all sugary,” she accused and laughed, trying to hide her embarrassment, while removing the donut ring and popping it into instead.

“ You’re mine now~” he sang playfully.

She shook her head, amused. “ You’re crazy.”

“ You’re leaving?” Haneul and Daehyun exclaimed together one day when Kim Hyun Joong stood in front of their house.

Hyun Joong nodded quietly. “ I came by to give you guys this, just a farewell present,” he whispered.

Daehyun took the two paper bags from his friend quietly, “ Why didn’t you say something?”

Hyun Joong shrugged. “ We’re supposed to give presents to you, not the other way,” Haneul said angrily. Her best friend was leaving and he didn’t have the guts to tell her.

“ Well, can we take a picture together at least?” Hyun Joong asked.

Haneul ah,

Mianhe… i.. didn’t have the guts to tell you I was leaving. I didn’t want to leave but appa took a job offer overseas and we’re going along with him.

Thank you, for being my friend… you and daehyun were good to me, I wont forget that.

I’ll keep my promise to you! i’ll come visit you as soon as I can!

• Loves haneul because she likes him for who he is ; that once fat boy.
• Intelligent and loves to cook, play soccer
• Younger brother, Dongwoon
• Helps haneul trust herself again.
• Overworks himself in studies. Scared of dogs.

2. Lee Haneul ( original character)

• Stubborn, oblivious, caring…
• Hates flirty guys, esp her ex boyfriend who played her.
• Bad experience in r/ship
• Baking prodigy, talented in cooking.
• Assess guys.
• Doesn’t trust herself to get into a relationship
• She likes him, just not sure about it yet.

3. Lee Daehyun ( original character)

• Haneul’s older brother
• Handles the bakery (manager)
• Trademark smiling eyes.
• Stubborn, protective, loves to joke around, inovative..
• Treats Minzy like his sister
• Loves playing soccer
• Does not share the cooking talent but he loves food!

4. Gong Minzy

• Haneul’s best friend - almost sister
• A really good dancer and a smartypants 
• Brave, spunky, mischivious, protective
• tries to coaz Haneul out of her shell with KHJ's help

5. Kim Dongwoon

• KHJ's younger brother
• just finished high school
• loves playing soccer and reading books.
• hyperactive, quirky, clueless about his brother's liking for his boss, Haneul
• loves Haneul as a sister
• close friends with Daehyun

6. Doojoon

• Haneul and Minzy's best friend.
• Gives great advice.
• Not interested in her, romantically. Despite what KHJ thinks.
• Has a temper, loves to dance and take photos.

7. Jang Minhyuk ( original character)

• Haneul's ex boyfriend from school ; player
• Childish, immature and depends on others heavily
• Got into a relationship with Haneul to make the girl he likes jealous.
