The Planet Earth is dead, as well as most of its people.  The survivors board aircrafts that are able to sustain gravity and oxygen, each aircraft being a nation, such as South Korea, China, the United States, France, etc.  Each nation is still plagued by terrorism, drug cartels and disease.  South Korea is doing well economically, but it faces the greatest threat of terrorism because of its advances in science and technology.  Scientists there have devised a new chemical commonly known as 'Krisus', able to kill anyone in a 10 mile radius if activated.

While most nations have decided to not interfer for fear of chemical warfare, China has decided to obtain the chemical. 

At any cost.
