“Yay~” Junsu hugged me as I exited the lecture hall. “We, as in you and I, Min, have survived the dreaded classes of what is labeled as TODAY!”

“Yes yes, we all know that every day is a very life threatening experience that tests out survivals skills, Junsu,” I replied in a very obviously bored voice.

“FINALLY, SOMEONE THAT UNDERSTANDS! You know, I think I’m finally starting to see the reasons of how we became best friends, Minnie~”

“YAH!” I punched him in the stomach, the satisfying ‘oomph’ coming right after. “What’s that supposed to mean?!”

“Uh...” He just sounded so sure of himself. “...I LOVE YOU, MINNIE~” His embrace tightened.

“Yeah yeah yeah.” I shrugged him off. “I know you only ever say that because I feed you 50% of the time.”

“That too.”

How blunt.

“Anyway, what~?”

Out of nowhere, this huge freaking shadow overtook us, and I fought back the urge to scream. “Damn it, Nichkhun!” I sputtered, regaining my composure. “You keep popping up out of nowhere! It’s a bit annoying and intimidating!” Well, to me, at least. Wooyoung could not be intimidated by the Loch Ness monster and Junsu was pretty oblivious to all that should be intimidating to him...except me of course, since I possess that special power to instill fear into that sort of hollowed-out head of his. Anyway, back to Nich. I had already agreed to coffee with him (because coffee is now a verb), in a quite cheerful and excited manner nonetheless. I actually looked forward to drinking coffee with him (coffee is no longer a verb, just so you know) and-

“I thought we already planned our little get together, Min.” he chuckled slightly, which made him a little more attractive than he already was. Honestly, I wanted to pinch his cheeks so bad...

“Wha?! Minnie, you’re supposed to feed me!”

“Oh feed yourself, you big baby. Go gnaw on your graphing calculator some more, I’m sure all the numbers stored in there is more than enough to fill up your black hole of a stomach.”

Nichkhun could only smile awkwardly as he looked at me with a slightly disturbed expression, but I waved Junsu off, giving my full focus back to the man in front of me.

“So about that coffee-”

“Min Young, it’s time to go home.” Wooyoung had so rudely interrupted, and I could tell that he had “dumbed down” his speech to lessen the formality.

“Jesus, Woo, where do you come from?” I heard Junsu mutter. “You’re like that gopher or groundhog or woodchuck thing in Caddyshack.” He should really just stick to deriving quotients and all the other math junk that gets his blood a-running. Firstly, that thing was a groundhog. Secondly, woodchucks (as far as I know) do not live underground. And thirdly-

“Min Young,” Wooyoung stated again, quite firmly this time, “it’s time to go home.”

God freaking damn it, can’t a girl at least finish a thought?! Anyway, and thirdly, to compare my bodyguard to a large rodent...is slightly funny but very much....actually, no. It’s just funny. “Don’t get so pushy,” I scoffed while hitching my backpack farther up my shoulder. “We have time...” I turned back to smile at Junsu and Nichkhun, who sported confused and amused expressions respectively. “So what are your classes like for tomorrow? I have a feeling my Intro to Sociology class is going to be one huge telling off since practically no one finished the assignment he gave us last class.” Originally I had been looking forward to that class at the start of the semester, but now...I had trouble keeping my eyes open for longer than forty-fives minutes (luckily the class was only fifty minutes long, so I usually had someone wake me up once we were dismissed).

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Woo staring at his cell phone screen. “So, Min Young. Did I tell you what Jin did the other day? UGH. That...woman. Dare I even call her that?!” Junsu should have majored in theatre arts. Just saying. “She threw her notebook at me during a tutoring session and ordered me to write down EVERYTHING she had written down, which included notes from, like, two semesters ago! I mean, who the heck keeps notes for that long? I’ll tell you who. FREAKING JUNG SUNG JIN! And the binding hit me in the face, so my precious nose was all scratched up for an hour, and she wouldn’t even give me one of her Hello Kitty bandaids that I know she keeps on her at all times, and then she jabbed my arm with a mechanical pencil, A MECHANICAL PENCIL, MINNIE, and on top of all that~”

Wooyoung’s quiet voice has this weird ability to ring out over everyone else’s despite the fact that he talks quietly. “Your cousin Jay is looking for you.”

HOLY BLOND CHEERLEADER, BATMAN. “Jay’s here?! Seriously?!” My happiness meter quickly shot from a good seven to a sky-high 9,000 or something. Park Jaebeom is my most favorite cousin in the whole wide world, and that’s really saying something because I have like a bajillion and one cousins (my aunts and uncles didn’t believe in condoms and were very...active...in the reproductive process...or so joked my house and kitchen staff). “TAKE ME TO HIM! WOO! WE HAVE TO SEE JAY NOW! RIGHT NOW!” I didn’t even spare a glance back at Junsu (who was now venting about the time she had smeared black ink on one of his shirts or something along those lines) or Nichkhun (who closely resembled a kicked puppy) as I dragged Wooyoung off to the parking lot where my darling cousin awaited me!

I noticed that Woo cocked his head over his shoulder, looking back at the two men (one of whom hadn’t even noticed I was now absent). Whoa. Was it just me, or was Woo...almost smirking at Nichkhun’s hurt look? Oh, who gives a flying pig? JAY!!! (Just for future references, I like my pigs dead and well-done, thank you.)
