Description
His life hangs by a thread, which can be cut any second. He doesn't mind, not one bit. No one would care, no one would miss him, no one would notice. Kim Jaejoong chants these very words everyday ever since he was little. But once he moves into a new town, the third that year, he senses something different. Yunho, a fellow student at his new high school, seems to have a similar backgroud. However, Jaejoong is still protected by a' forest of thorns'. High school is already hell, but this is worse. With a past and problems like Jaejoong, he constantly questions whether he will literaly make it out alive.
Foreword
Main Characters
Jaejoong (16- sophomore): The new kid with a rough past. His mother died of terminal cancer while he was still a young boy. Shortly after her death, his father physically harrassed/abused and his own son till the age of nine. He also took up heavy drinking, constantly leaving the family with debt. When Jaejoong was nine, his father abandoned his son, leaving him with just $70 and the house. Once the government found out about this, they paid and cared for him from a distance because he was old enough to take care of himself. By this, they cover the rent and paid for the most basic of necessities.
The Jung Family History: All the siblings have a pretentious father who is never seen. Their mother died while giving birth to Yunho, making every hate the boy at a young age. His father dated numerous woman even when his wife was still alive. Their father is also a large business tycoon and left his family. However, he does provide them with money and pays the bills and such.
Yunho (16- sophomore): The youngest brother of Changmin and Yoochun. He also has had a rough past, being called worthless and a mistake his entire life.
Changmin (17- junior): The middle child of the siblings. He is part of the normal crowd, but has a notorious reputation for being a heavy eater and having a marvelous voice.
Yoochun (18- senior): The oldest out of the sand siblings. He tends to care for his messed up family with all he's got. He is a sharp one and is student body president.
Junsu (16 - sophomore) The other new kid that arrived a few days after Jaejoong. He is instantly popular with the kids, but is hiding a shockingly similar past behind his charming smile.
