Hallyu 101 [ON HIATUS]
Description
Yeonra is just one of those fangirls who would ogle over him everytime he performs. That would faint when she looks at him. That would kill just to be his girlfriend. She knows everything about his life to the point that she even knows his favorite underwear color (OK, that's majorly GROSS!). She even have tons of pictures of him in her cellphone.
One day, Yeon Ra's "so-called dreams" start to unfold as she was casted for the SM Entertainment global auditions.
Lee Jinki, more popularly known as Onew, the leader of the popular KPOP boygroup, SHINee, comes back after two years of mandatory military services. Two years gone may have been a short time for anybody, but it changed everything for Onew. Something in him just unexplainably changed. He now feels old, more mature, and totally different. He lost touch with the famous "Onew Condition". The clumsiness seemed to have left his body - possibly because of the rigorous training he have had. He doesn't find himself as someone in the limelight anymore. And worst, he may have some impeccable doubts with his feelings for long-term girlfriend, Luna.
On the day of callbacks for the global auditions, Onew and Yeonra meet in a rather unexpected and embarassing way (for Yeonra). After some comical encounters with each other, they try to learn to live through each other's perfect imperfections. And so, their love-hate relationship takes them on a roller coaster ride full of confusion, drama, comedy and a possible ROMANCE.
But a story's never complete without clumsy best friends, puppy-love romance, and some edgy competition. So Yeonra's life might just get more complicated and more fun than it actually is!
Foreword
Yeonra
The cold winter breeze seeped through my wool jacket and into my skin, causing my teeth to chatter loudly. I dug my hands deeper into my coat and silently cursed my friends under my breath. This is all their fault. I wouldn’t be stuck here waiting in the freezing cold if they weren’t so gung-ho with the idea that I should take the first flight to Korea and see my “so-called dreams” unfold. For Pete’s sake, it’s just a callback. It’s not like it’s been guaranteed that the entertainment company takes me in. We’re basically relying on blind hope here.
So um, yeah… I may have been casted for the SM Entertainment global auditions. I got an email last week, telling me I was “drafted”. Whatever that means. I just sent them a video of me sloppily singing and dancing last summer. I guess they thought I wasn’t that bad. Or maybe they just viewed my video after having some head concussions. Either way, it’s not like this whole “I’ve-been-drafted” thing is gonna get me booked with the company.
I was pulled out of my dishevelled thoughts when a staff member instructed me to come inside the building. “Yeonra-sshi, kindly come in.” The Korean guy said with a warm smile on his face. He looked like he was about my age. Well, according to my calculations, that is. He doesn’t look half-bad either. He’s kinda cute.
Oh god. Did I just think that? What the hell is wrong with me today? I’m noticing good-looking guys now? When did I even start doing that? I’ll blame this on the bad breakfast burrito I had at the airport. I’m not the kind of girl who gawks on guys because of how they look. And then again, maybe my friends are the ones to blame. I wouldn’t have eaten that stupid burrito in the first place if they hadn’t forced me to come here.
The guy led me to my seat and handed me a number. “Just stay. Here. Come when number call.” He instructed, obviously struggling with his English. It sounded like he was eating his words. He left, looking rather flustered. Maybe I should’ve told him I could understand Hangul. And that I can speak the language fluently – thanks to the Korean Cultural lessons I took a few years back.
After letting the slightest guilty feeling subside, I composed myself and finally started taking in my surroundings. I can’t help but admire the place. It’s not so hard to tell that SME’s well-off with all the interior designs, including the fancy chair I’m sitting on. Everything seemed sophisticated and exclusive. Now I feel kind of embarrassed for scuffing the smooth marble floor with my worn-out boots.

Finally! The foreword is posted! What do you think of Yeonra's cynical views? Haha. She sure is one heck of a girl. Be sure to support her throughout the story. First chapter's gonna be DAEBAK! So you definitely have to watch out for that.
I'll keep you guys posted as much as I possibly can. Promise!
