“Sleeping Beauty, if you don’t open your eyes, I might have to kiss you,” Byunghun warned with a teasing tone to his voice.

“Wasn’t sleeping,” Chanhee said, opening his eyes, but keeping his ears covered.

Byunghun set two candles down on the coffee table and lit them. “There’s no point in keeping your ears covered if you can hear me, y’know.”

“If you wouldn’t talk, I wouldn’t hear you,” Chanhee shot back.

“But thunder is a lot louder than me, don’t you think?” Grinning at his friend, Byunghun plopped down on the couch and scooted close to Chanhee. He wrapped his hands around Chanhee’s wrists and pulled gently. “Come on… a little noise won’t kill you.”
