Tara is an 18-year old american-asian girl, whose family had just moved to Korea a few weeks ago. She has a big brother called Jeremy and a little sister called Sonja. Despite the fact that her family is quite rich, her life gets only more miserable each day. Her dad has a shoe company and because of that, he spends most of his time at work, leaving no time for kids. He doesn't even want to spend time with them. Her mom has been unemployed for three months. She is very strict and always scolds her children. Tara can't make any new friends at school, making her feel like a loner. Tara is waiting for a miracle. She wants her life to get better.
