Tanakori, I find you....

Prison Break

As I walked in, I met with the attorney appointed to me. He told me that there was so much bad evidence against me, that I should plea guilty and he would compromise with the judge. When the judge walked in, he asked me how I would plea. I thought about it for a minute, and finally decided the attorney probably knew what was best.

"Guilty."

“Mr. Matsumoto, do you know that by pleading guilty you are giving up the right to a jury?"

 What?!

“Yes."

“Do you give up that right?”

NO!

“Yes."

“Do you understand what giving up that right means?”

No, Of course not!

"Yes."

“Do you know that you are waiving the right to cross-examine your accusers?”

WHAT?!

"Yes."

“Do you know that you are waiving your privilege against self-incrimination?”

How was I supposed to know that?!

"Yes."

“Did anyone force you into accepting this settlement?”

Yeah, Look at the guy next to me.

"No."

“Are you pleading guilty because you in fact killed the victim?”

I didn't kill her!

"Y-yes."

“Mr. Matsumoto, you are hereby sentenced to 18 years in prison, and no probation."

I turned to my attorney. MORON! I was ready to lunge at him, and acutally kill someone.

"You." I said, glaring at him.
