The sun was shining the day I first saw you. It was a sunny day in winter, with snow everywhere. You were there, waiting in the park, alone. You were standing still, looking at the sky. I thought for a moment you were a statue seeing how beautiful you were. You turned around, and our eyes met. At this moment, I lost my heart. Your gaze was so intense, I felt like you had hypnotized me. It must have lasted less than one minute, but it felt to me like years. You turned around and smiled at someone who was coming. You took him in your arm and kissed his cheek. Everybody in the park must have thought it was your brother, but I knew, I knew it was more than that. The guy was really pretty, almost like a girl, maybe some thought he was your sister.

At that moment, my friend arrived and we started heading where we had decided to go. I looked at you one last time, and you looked at me. You still had this intensity in your eyes, but something else was there. I didn't try understanding I just looked at you, before leaving. I never thought I would see you again.
