Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. I felt an ache in my chest when i realized he was sick and then when it finally happened i was like NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! From the moment he said it i was hoping for some kind of miracle to fix him bc they JST CAN'T BE SEPARATED; they're eunhae for goodness sake! It's lovely bc their relationship is complicated and simple at the same time. They're together but not explicitly but they clearly need each other. And donghae loves him and i'm sure hyuk does too but hyuk's so broken and afraid that it makes me want to cry! Heartbreaking story with a chilling ending. *sobs*
Chapter 1: wow i really need to find another hobby beside crying over a fics uhm but ohmygod thank you for making me crying wait no i mean thank you like i mean it lol :3
Chapter 1: i was a nincompoop depending on cliches and expected you to spin something out of the tragic love story and moving on after death and i mean, in a way you did, but not really at all. because the majority of the story is set during their constantly moving relationship (literally) and it brings up an interesting, untouched theme. not everyone that dies is going to be somebody's lifelong lover. he dies in the midst of them falling in love, when things are unstable and unlabeled and god it's so GOOD. it's almost angstier because how will he ever know what the other felt? (trying to keep names out of it for spoiler reasons)
every single line is just impeccable, you're making it hard for me to review. cinnamon dreams and just, all the imagery!! it's astounding and overwhelmingly beautiful. the old american pop cultures references are a treat, i love to see them in another setting.
is the end forebodingly creepy? am i overthinking things or are they supposed to imply a drastic turn?
i love love LOVE that "moving on" didn't mean what i thought it would for this fic. also, it's almost hilarious that that little tidbit about donghae's ____ty driving came up a couple days ago. any connection? he is the reckless one...
