Need a Reviewer? (Busy :O)

Description

I want to open a review shop. YAY

Rules:

1. Please do not bash. This is kind of a given. Also, no hate please.

2. Please be patient. I take 8 classes, am part of the basketball and speech and debate team. I will get to you as soon as possible. And I promise I will do my best job.

3. As of right now, the limit for requests will be 3. If your story is 30+ chapters, I will only accept two. This will probably be a running workshop until I get overloaded (or something comes up).

4. Please let me use text selection if I ask for it. Chances are that I will ask for it. If you are super scared that someone will copy you work, we can work out a time where it will only be open for a few minutes or so.

5. No . I seriously do not know how to judge . If your story is 30% or more , I recommend going to someone else.

6. Reviews will be posted in public. Please be ok with that.

7. Subscription is necessary. Not because I want any karma or whatever, I just want to make sure that you guys know whats happening if you decide to give me a fanfic to review. I don't want someone complaining to me two weeks after I did something when they could've told me something right after I update.

8. Please PM me in this format:

Name:

Title:

Link:

Characters:

Chapters: (if it is a oneshot, then you can just write "oneshot")

Foreword

Rubric:

Title/Description/Forward: (out of 10)

I believe all this should contribute to the story. You don't need a forward, I just want to include all the things so people will know that I am judging everything.

Presentation: (out of 5)

Too many graphics? One block or paragraphs? This should be extremely easy to get points in.

Actual Story:

Grammar: (out of 15)

I won't be taking points off for who/whom, but I will probably do it for they're/their/there. Any glaring mispellings and stuff like that. Even if you are not a native speaker, I still expect some sort of grammatically correct story.

Characterization: (out of 15)

Are your characters Mary Sues or Gary Stus? Are they flat, static, dynamic, round? Is the characterization all direct? Is there no characterization at all? Obviously some minor characters can be stereotypes, but I do expect a wide variety of characters and REAL ones. Change is almost necessary in a main character, even minute ones.

Use of Figurative Language/Style: (out of 15)

Is there any use of similes, metaphors, imagery, symbolism, parallelism. active voice? Is there any overuse? Can you detect what the mood is? Are things Shown, not Told? I think this is one of the more important sections (other than the next one) beause without this, your story does not have any style to it.

Flow/ Unity/ Credibility/Tone: (out of 30)

Did you do your research? Does the story flow well? Does it make sense? Is there a constant change of POV, especially within a chapter? Is there any opinion given by the author that exposes a topic (theme)? This is easily the most important section because it shows pretty much what the entire story is about

Overall Impression: (out of 5)

You may give technically have everything I said above, but the bottom line is (especially because its AFF), will I recommend this to a friend. To be honest, if you are scoring partially well, then you should be fine in this section.

Originality: (out of 5)

Kind of self explanatory. I personally don't really care about how special your story is, which is why I made this section only a small percentage of the points. There should, however, be some sort of unpredictability involved, which is why I actually made this section.

Total: x/100 or x%
