Lesson 1
Probably most of you know how to read and write this.
YOU HAVE TO KNOW THIS.
Hello ; Annyeonghasaeyo
Hangul: 안녕하세요
The first word, which is Ann, is written like this. 안.
How to remember it? First of all, remember this. 아. <----It means Ah.
The other letter below the 아 is a ㄴ. Which means...ok...i don't really know. But i just remember that ㄴgives me the 'N' sound at the end.
The seond word is 'Yeong'. Written like this. 녕.
If you remember SNSD's band in hangul, then you should remmber this. 녀 (nyuh)
And, if you put this,ㅇ, under 녀, you will get 녕. Just pretend that the ㅇ is pronounced as the English's 'O'. You combine the 'nyuh' and the 'o' together, the pronounciation becomes 'nyuh-o'. If you spell it out in words, its "Yeong/Yeo"
The third word is 'Ha'하
If you have watched 'Running Man' you would have seen his name tag many times. So..i won't have to tell you.
Anyways, ㅎ gives you the pronounciation, "H-a" If you add this on,ㅏ, it gives you 'ha'.
The reason why you have "H-Ah/Ha' (the 'ah' sound) is because 아 is in the word. Therefore you get, 'Ha'
The fourth word is "Se/Sae" written like this, 세.
If your a crazy Exotic, you should know this.
Anyways, ㅅ, gives you the 's' sound.
While this, ㅔ, i pronounced as 'ae'
So, if you combine this 2 together, you get 세 . Also known as 'sae/se'
The last word is 'yo'
As you just learned,ㅇ is pronounced as 'O'.
Well, ㅛ is pronounced as 'Yo'
Because ㅛ gives off a small exaggeration of 'yo', ㅇ comes in and give the pronounciation a longer pull.
Therefore, 'Yo-o' is written like this 요.
