Foreword
People normally love to sleep. Me? I hated it. I detested it with my absolute being. I was always haunted by nightmares; nightmares of someone's death. It wouldn't be so bad if it was a different nightmare, but mine came in a form of an endless drama. Every night was a different episode of someone's death. It might be the same person, it might not be, but it was like my nightmares are all somehow connected. Then, there was always a pair of red, emotionless eyes staring back at me before I get woken up to reality. I would then be awake till it was time for school. It was tiring, but I lived with it, like how I always had.
At school, I was that popular girl in school. I couldn’t help it. If you had the director of the school as your father and the principal of the school as your mother, everyone naturally wanted to be your friend. Or maybe they just wanted to up to me. Who knows? As popular as I was, and as many friends as I had, I trusted no one. There was only one person who I trusted and he was long dead.
There are days when I don’t go to bed though; days when I would be outside in a pool of blood. Who am I? I’m Choi Jun Hee; the best and oldest assassin.
