Chapter 19 : Emotional break down

Luhan's POV

Speak of the devil. Seems like my mom is just happy to throw me around Yara. Like how i was now forced to drive her and Yara to the mall.

“Omma! Hurry up! I have to meet Yixing after this” I shout as i call her from downstairs, While checking on my watch.

It wasn’t my mother who appear on the staircase, instead it was Yara, she was wearing her usual style ; A sheer pink sweater with a skinny jeans and a pair of her favorite worn out dark blue converse with a messanger bag slung on her left shoulder, as she let her cooper black straight hairwent ponytail. Typical Yara. God this girl did she ever wear a skirt in her entire life instead of school uniform? I love it though, little did she know she looks pretty with her own style, she doesn’t even need a whit of makeup to make her self look pretty, of course her skin is not the fairiest among most of korean girls but she still look pretty, even when she snores at night or even when she eats like a pig.

At least in my eyes.

She went down the staircase but stop as she saw me standing and stares at her, she quickly bowed her head down avoiding my eyes as she continues riding down the stairs. I know she still feels uncomfortable from what had happened while ago and probably confused at what to do now so i just let her awkward side appear.

Just then my mother went down, all ready.

“Come on let’s go” She said in a cheerful voice

The three of us went to the car

I press the key’s open locked censor and the car bipped, flashing it haz from the car’s night light.

I went to the driver seat and went inside, i was hoping that My mom would be the person sitting in the passenger seat but of course in my ‘surprise’ it was yara instead. My mom make her sit there i know.

On the way to the mall yara were really sitting uncomfortably as her body stiffened and she just kept on playing with her hands.

I was busy with the road and shifting the gears repeatedly. But then a question pops in my mind

“Omma i could just drop you off right? And left you to meet yixing? And when you’re done i’ll pick you up” I said to her from the mirror view. Her eyes widened in disapproval

“No,no,no you’ll be accompanying me and yara shopping okay?” She said as she gave me her infamous stare.

“Why?” I asked back, fixing my eyes on the road

“It’s because i said so. End of discussion” She replied. I only rolled my eyes. I could see yara from the corner of my eyes that she was staring at me quietly.

We finally arrived at the mall. At the mall omma was busy going through the clothes part, searching stuff as she sometimes would match it on Yara’s body,Yara would only let out a laugh or smile when my mother would utter compliments for like “This clothes looks good on you” “You’re pretty in everything” Which is right.  And I walk behind them like a body guard while texting yixing

I chuckled on Lay’s last message, but smile apprehensively at the other messages.

Well lay ssi i was hoping the same thing too

Soon the three of us walk at a boutique at the mall and again Yara was being the model for her experiments as she is now walking to the fitting room to try on a dress my mother picked, when she show her the dress Yara wasn’t looking really pleased infact she cringed a bit but quickly throw my mother a fake smile of hers to satisfied my mom.

I wait for 3 minutes before yara finally step out of the fitting room leaving me and my mother awe she is wearing a light peach dress with a flower pattern in it the lenght of the dress is above her knees a bit making her beautiful legs shone, she looks pretty

“Kyaa... Yara~ i know you would look really good in this” My mom squealed. While Yara on the other hand stands uncomfortably, and smile as she keeps on pulling the edge of the dress down trying to cover her half shown thigh. I know she doesn’t liked it, it’s just so not  her style.

But as for me i think it looks pretty on her. I’m still sitting blankly looking at Yara, I’ve never seen she wear skirt except for her school skirt and actually her skirt uniform is even longer than the other  girl student so i can’t really see her in ‘skirts’.

But fortunately i see it today, and she looks good in it, okay she don’t have that model size of legs but her legs looks beautiful in its own way, well at least in my eyes.

“Ya! Luhan ~ahYara looks good in it right?” My mother turn around asking me who still sitting dumbfoundely at yara

I move my eyes to my mother and  turn to look at yara who’s looking at me sheepishly

“Yeah yeah whatever” I said as i throw my face on the other side of the room, Ignoring Yara and pretending to not care

“Aish! Don’t be like that! She looks pretty and i bet you know it too” My mother hissed at me and went up to yara
