It was four months before the graduation of college. alexandra algar was sitting alone on a table, with a cup of coffee and her laptop.Arvin noticed and went to her,trying to scare her. but alexandra turned back before he could even scare her. " what are you trying to do,christian?" she asked. Arvin tried not to blush infront of her. "uh..trying to scare you?" he said. alex just smiled and offered him a seat. "what's with the dslr camera?" arvin asked. alex tried to explain that she entered a contest; to take a picture of the most unforgettable moment of her life. when arvin heard of this,the thought immediately strucked in his head,this was his chance to think of a way in which alex could take a picture. then emmanuel came to ruin his daydream. "hey,alex,wanna go to the club?" he asked. arvin wished that alex'd say no,apparently, alex hates noisy places especially night clubs. "no thanks,emman" she declined. arvin was relieved. serves you right he thought. when emmanuel left, arvin pretend to asked why did she declined a superstar's offer. "i hate clubs, they're so nosiy" she answered.this gave arvin a great idea of what place he'll pick to do his plan. the dismissal bell rang,everyone went home,but alex got some papers to do,so she had to stay for the whole night. arvin saw her and offered if he could help her with the paperwork, alex accepted his help. before midnight, alex got tired and had slept in the library,even though arvin was tired, he tried to keep his conscience, he noticed that alex is already asleep and placed his jacket around her so she wont catch a cold.when morning came, they both hurried to the classrooms,hoping that they arent late. but when they arrived, no one was around then they remembered that is was saturday."great, totally embarrasing" arvin groaned. alex laughed "not really, this is also a moment to remember". this made arvin smile. "hey, you wanna go out someday?" he asked. where did that come from? he thought. "yeah sure, when?" she asked. "uh this evening?" he said. when arvin got home, he directly went into his room and turned his computer on,searched for romantic places in korea. he was disappointed when he learned that all those places are needed to be paid with great amount.then he thought of the things alex said about hating  noisy places.he hurriedly grabbed his  coat and left. when he arrived at alex's house, she wasnt there, he searched everywhere, when he reached the park, there he found alex taking photos of her cousins playing at the playgound. arvin noticed that alex was happy,he left before alex could even see him,but alex noticed that arvin was around even if she was busy taking pictures.meanwhile,arvin was walking slowly,the scene didn't leave his head.he sighed of  relief, to see that alex was wearng her cute smile " glad to see that she's happy" he said,not knowing that alex was right beside him. " who's happy,arvin?" she asked. arvin felt embarressed and can't help blushing,"a-alex,w-when did you get here?" he asked. alex smiled and calmly said " i saw you at the park just a moment ago,what were you doing there?were you with someone special?". well,seeing you smile is the only thing that would make me company he told himself. then the sky turned dark,rain began to drop," oh no,its raining" alex exclaimed.arvin immediately covered alex with his coat and took her to a dry place." thanks,arvin" she said. arvin smiled,he was satisfied that he could do something for alex.since on the day we met,i felt like somewhat happy to see alex smile and enjoyed her life,but something seemed to bother her everyday.when alex reached her house,she started to faint,her parents took her to the hospital,hoping to finda cure for her illness.at school,arvin wondered if alex is present, unfortunately, her friend,rina told her classmates that alex was in the hospital,without hesitating,arvin asked which hospital but rina didnt know which one,this made arvin so disappointed,at the same time,worried.then one of alex's cousins came and told rina about alex's illness that it was something that they couldnt understand.when arvin overheard their conversation,he immediately went to the hospital where alex is." alex" he said. alex was asleep, arvin was still not sure to directly ask alex about her sickness.when alex woke up,she saw arvin sitting near her,she tried to wake him up,but she wouldnt dare.when arvin woke up, "h-hey, aren't you suppose to be in bed" he asked."aren't you supposed to be at school?" she asked. arvin knew that something was wrong,alex used to be a cheerfull kid but now she seem so sad."ale,what's wrong?" arvin asked. but alex just wont tell him, she felt like crying but couldn't especially infront of arvin. "nothing,i'm ok." she replied. arvin tried to make her tell him what is really the matter,no matter what he'll do, alex just wont tell him. "why wont you tell me?!" he asked."because i dont want you or anyone to be worried" she replied."the more i'll be worried if you wont tell me"he exclaimed. alex remained silent. arvin knew that she's only troubled, he left the room to give her time,unminding the tears that fell unto his face, calm down,arvin,she's only tired he said to himself. meanwhile, alex cried side her room,she didnt tell arvin that she's been suffering from a heart cancer. after afew days later," alex,dear,   time to take your medicine" her mom said,as she entered the room,but alex wasnt there anymore. she mother panicked and ran to the doctor. it was raining so hard,alex stayed under the old tree to keep herself dry. when aizerner contacted arvin of what he had heard at the hospital,arvin left his house unminding the storm that is coming,he went to search for alex.it took him to realize that alex could be at the park,he went there and saw alex." alex!!" he exclaimed. alex heard him and turned." what are you doing here,you could catch a cold." she said." what were you thinking?! you could die in this cold!" he said.arvin covered his coat to alex to prevent her from getting cold. alex knew that leaving the hospital wasnt the best idea she ever made,she made arvin and her family worried. alex grabbed arvin's shirt," huh?,alex, what's wrong?....you must be cold,aren't you?" he asked."i'm sorry,i'm sorry to make you and everyone else worried,i didn't mean to,i just wanted to prevent all of you from  worrying about me" she said while crying. arvin smiled and hugged her. " you dont have to blame yourself in all what you did" he said. alex cried.when they reached the hospital,alex fell asleep," alex" her mom exclaimed." she fell asleep,maybe she was tired of the cold night...uh,she told me that she doesnt want anyone to worry about her,so please, even if you're worried,dont let her see that face." arvin pleaded.then arvin left.when alex woke up," mom,where's arvin?" she asked. " he left last night,dear,anyway,let's pack,we're going to seoul" her mom said. alex was confused,her mom wouldnt choose to leave to seoul unless its the last resort. " seoul? but why?"she asked.her mom gave her a smile " you always wanted to go to seoul,dont you?" her mom said. alex immediately left the hospital and went to arvin. arvin was reading a book when alex called him. " alex?what are you doing here?" he asked,suprised. alex wasnt glad to see him,but she was quite miserable." why would you send me away?" she asked,ignoring his question." i see,your mom told you that it was me" he admitted."i grew up here,i dont want to live with my annoying childhood friend" she said.this made arvin confused." what are you talking about?" he asked."he kept on asking me to date him but i dont want to,he kept on giving me gifts that i really do hate." she stopped,tears began to fall down from her eyes. oh no,what have i done arvin thought to himself.he stood and wiped her tears with his hanky." i'm sorry,i'm sorry if had to send you away,but its best for you to stay away from me." he said." why,why would you send me away?" she asked." for you to be safe" he replied. " i...i dont want to, i want you to come" she said. arvin was indeed surprised to hear the words that he didnt expect to hear. "n-no..alex, i cant come with you to seoul"he said. "why? why would  you do this?" she asked. "for you to be happy, i cant risk seeing you looking sad and severely sick"he said. " fine, i'll leave....not because i know its for my own good,because i wanted you to be happy" she said and left. arvin regretted having alex cry.he put one his hood once the rain began to drop. but he passed by the park and remembered alex's smile. it made him feel to hug her and apologize,so he ran after her.then the rain had gotten stronger at the moment. shoot,i cant even see anything through this rain he thought. the people inside the cafe were watching the news report,there is gonna be a typhoon coming. i hate him...i really hate him..she told herself. then she felt her body shaking,she was losing her balance,when someone grabbed her hand. " what do you think you're doing?!" arvin's voice sounded worried. alex stood and slapped him,then disappeared. arvin felt tears dropping from his face.after the storm,alex thought that she's wrong,she went after arvin but couldnt find him anywhere.
