Description
The greatest danger for most of us is not that our aim is too high and we miss it; but that it is too low and we reach it.
The only thing that an outgoing twenty-two year-old Choi Jinri wants is to get married to a man with a stable financial status and have kids. That way, she won’t have to worry about anything else since she will have the two most important things in the world — family and money. So, that is why when her twenty-eight year-old boyfriend, the heir of the Kwon Corporation, Kwon Jiyong, asks her for a hand in marriage, she doesn’t need to think twice before answering him with a yes.
Two weeks before their wedding, she tells her fiancé that she wants to have the last bit of her freedom as an unmarried woman. Jiyong trusts her. He knows that even though she is very sociable, the last thing she would do is to cheat on him. So, when Sulli says that she has arranged a trip to a resort on an island in Japan for a week, he gives her his permission and helps to aid her trip financially.
However, what they think will happen and what will actually happen are two very different things. It seems like life has another plan for them when a stubborn, hotheaded, edgy…but extremely irresistible young man suddenly gets into the picture.

I’m not smart.
I know that for a fact. No, wait. Let me rephrase that. It’s not that I’m not smart. I’m dumb. Yes, I am dumb, stupid and…and…oh crap, I run out of synonyms. See! I told you I’m stupid. What had just happened is a solid proof of my stupidity — my extremely narrow range of vocabularies. Once I finished my high school, I did not further my studies. I see no point for it; a person like me can’t go far anyway. Besides, I am comfortable with my current job as a waitress.
I’m gorgeous.
Okay, that may have just sounded a little too narcissistic — yes, I know what the word “narcissistic” means but only after checking a dictionary after I heard one of my friends using it once in her conversation. Believe it or not, at first I thought that she made the word up. Anyway, getting back to our topic, I’m not self-centered or anything; I’m just aware of the fact that I am beautiful.
I have to admit that I do appreciate my beauty. When I was still a teenager, all the other girls my age had to suffer with pimples on their faces, having either extremely oily or dry skins or even blackheads and whiteheads. I was so thankful to have been gifted with such a flawless face. The most I had to do was just to powder my face and I will look prettier than all of my other schoolmates. Again, I am not boasting or anything but it is what it is.
Even now, at the age of twenty-two, I don’t cake up my face with layers of makeup. The only time I draw eye liners and wear bright colored lipsticks are when I go partying at night. I mean, if I don’t do that, I won’t be allowed to enter clubs since they think that I’m still underage.
Being a beautiful girl is actually kind of fun. You get to feel appreciated because wherever you go, the male population will take a second glance at you. And if by any chance they are daring enough, they will approach you and ask for your number. I admit, I do like and enjoy all the attention I receive from men. And did I mention that my boss loves me? Of course she does. Thanks to me, her café business is blooming like never before.
But…do you want to know the truth? Being a beautiful girl isn’t always about rainbows and unicorns. Especially when you’re like me — a beauty without brains.

This will only be a short story due to the existing of a dateline.
