Trainwreck

Description

Everyone knew Moon Jongup. He was the idol who always smiled. No matter what. He was a happy boy, a lucky person, a talented child, someone whose life was desired by many others.

Nobody knew the truth.

That, beneath those bright, innocent smiles was a trainwreck.

Foreword

This is my entry for the Sky is the Limit Writing Contest Round 2: Subround 1.  The prompts used were:

1. Sometimes I think the human heart is just a simple shelf. There’s only so much you can pile onto it before something falls off an edge and you are left to pick up the pieces. – From House Rules by Jodi Picoult

6. We all wear masks, and the time comes when we cannot remove them without removing some of our own skin. – Andre Berthiaume

This story is partially inspired by my cousin who hasn't exactly lived what you'd call a good life. He hasn't had the opportunities to do things everyone takes for granted and now he's in the psychiatric ward at the hospital. I'm praying things will get better for him soon. I hope you enjoy reading though! :)

I understand that the ending might've been a little confusing so I've changed it a little to clear things up

Chapter 1: Oh my gosh. That was hauntingly amazing. I mean, wow. I don't even have the right words to explain it. It's just...I'm speechless! I love it, really.
