Mr. Jung said at us and gave us a slight smile.

 

Taemin stepped forward and smiled at the girl with a slight bob of a mushroom haircut.

 

“My name is Lee Taemin. Let’s work well with each other in the future!” He said cutely.

 

The girl squealed and began to jump up and down in excitement.

 

The other four of us clapped, happy for her.

 

“Kamsahamnida~” She sang.

 

“Please wait outside.”

 

The girl bowed at Mr. Jung and skipped outside.

 

“Next is Minho.”

 

Minhotook a slight step forward.

 

I looked at his face and knew that the girl who liked Minho was going to leave the waiting room crying.

 

“Mianhae Unnie…Mianhae…” He said with a deep apologetic voice.

 

I stole a quick look at the girl who had chosen Minho.

 

She was willing herself not to cry.

 

She gave out a quick smile and ran out of the room, her tears finally spilling as she passed me.

 

“Key?”

 

Kara began to fidget and I put a hand on her.

 

She looked at me and I mouthed to her,

 

“You’re going to be alright. Trust me.”

 

She gave me a shaky smile and nodded, her confidence boosted up again.

 

Key took a step forward, his silver microphone on his hand.

 

He put the microphone to a Kara’s mouth and smiled.

 

“Are you happy that you got chosen?”

 

Kara stared at Key wide mouthed, both her hands clapped to her wide mouth and her eyes b with tears.

 

She looked at me and rushed to me hugging and crying at me.

 

“I got it…I got in…I got in Jae!”

 

I laughed and patted her back.

 

“See? I told you. Go wait outside.”

 

I told her.

 

She broke her hug away and smiled at me.

 

“I know you’ll get in.”

 

I smiled at her.

 

“Komawo.”

 

“Please wait outside.”

Mr. Jung said, a hint of annoyance on his face.

 

Kara ran outside and quietly closed the door behind her and I was left with SHINee and Mr. Jung.

 

Mr. Jung turned towards me and smiled.

 

I smiled back and waited for a verdict.

 

“Out of all those 5 girls, I was most pleased with your answer.”

 

“Kamsahamnida.” I replied to the compliment.

 

“So…I’m guessing that you already know our answer correct?”

 

I nodded and smiled and walked out of the room but as I was about to open the door to wait outside I head Onew’s voice call out to me.

 

“Aren’t you going to squeal or something?”

I smiled to myself and turned around to face him.

 

“I don’t need to. As long as I know that I got chosen I don’t need to make such a big and annoying racket.”

 

I smiled and bowed and then left the room.

 

Once I got outside I looked at Kara who was looking at me worriedly.

 

Because she knew that even if I didn’t get chosen I would still be smiling in front of her, not crying.

 

She waited for me to speak and at first I didn’t say anything but gave her a sad smiled.

 

“Sadly…” I began.

 

She screwed her eyes shut and both her hands was clutching each other tightly.

 

“I’m not Onew’s assistant.”

 

Her eyes instantly flew open and she squeal for me and ran to bear hug me.

 

I laughed.

 

“Oh come on. What do you expect?!”

 

She pulled away from me and pouted.

 

“Well, that Mr. Jung looked so stern and stuff…I thought he wouldn’t like you…”

 

I looked at her serious.

 

“Are you kidding? He loves me!”

We both laughed and suddenly the door to the waiting room opened and out stepped Mr. Jung.

 

“Please come inside, it’s time for a meeting.”

 

All four of us came inside and sat down opposite of the idols of our dreams.

 

“Now, except for Minho’s fan, all of you have been chosen to work with you idol.”

 

We all smiled at each other.

 

“You’re first project is starting in a few minutes and this will b a test for you also. If you do not do well in this project then you can still be sent home but if you do well in this project then you are allowed to stay for a few years until I find something wrong with you.”

 

Everyone including Mr. Jung laughed.

 

“Understand?” Mr. Jung said after laughing.

 

“Ye.” We chorused.

 

Mr. Jung and SHINee stood up, followed by all four of us.

 

“In that case, let’s go then.”

 

Soon, our idol was walking next to us going to their photo shoot that was down a few levels of where they were.

 

Onew walked beside me, none of us talking.

 

“Umm...”

 

“Umm…”

 

We both said at the same time.

 

“Ladies first.”

 

He said straight away, stopping me from arguing.

 

I smiled and extended out my arm.

 

He looked down at it and then looked back up at me.

 

“Let’s work well together.” I said as I saw the question popping up in his warm brown eyes.

 

He smiled and bright smile and my heart skipped a beat.

 

He took out his hand and shook mine.

 

I suddenly felt as if the world had stopped.

 

His hand was soft and warm and nice.

 

I looked at Onew with a smiled.

 

“Let’s work well together.”
