This song reminds me of my non-blood-related grandpa.
Well, he lived in Arizona, and there are cactuses in Arizona... so that makes sense, right?
'Live' as in... he passed away last year. He was found sitting on his couch, a lone, and his heart had failed him. Nobody knew until his neighbors saw that he didn't take in the newspapers from three days ago...
Yeah. He had sent photo albums of my mom, my brothers, and me when we were little and he had visited us and when we visited him. And we would write letters to each other in English so often, it was like a fun routine.
Like I said, he wasn't related to us at all (he was white), so he wasn't really our grandpa, but he took my mother in and she lived with him and his family for several years.
