February. My so-called 99:1 month. The 99% represents the majority of the population of the earth who awaits the month and the 1% represents me who just plainly don't give a damn. Why? Long story.

"Dara! Dara!" My bestfriend called me as I walked down the hallway.

I knew it was my bestfriend, she's the only one who calls me that, well, rather, she's the only one who I gave permission to call me by that but it's not that I hated my name, I like it actually, very, it's the only thing that can prove I'm biologically female.

"Ah, Min Ah, what is it?

She was catching her breath, she obviously ran for a few kilometers or so, what's she in a rush for?

"I've been calling out for you but you...never turned back." She panted.

"Sorry, earphones." I smiled as I unplugged one earphone from my ear. 

"Just what I've suspected..."

"So, what's up?" I bit my lip.

"Oh come on, don't act like you don't know anything!"

"H-Huh? What- I don't get it." I raised my eyebrow.

"You're on the next shift for the Kissing Booth. For the organization's annual charity kissing booth? Ring a bell?" She curled her eyebrows.

Oh . I completely forgot about that! 

"A-Ah~ That! I am completely aware of that! I'm just going out to buy myself lunch." I lied. Well what was I supposed to do? Tell her the truth and hurt her feelings?

"Ohhh, then good. I thought you'd ditch me." She sighed.

"Tch! Why would I ditch you?" I chuckled.

"I thought you might not like the idea of having Ji Yong in the kissing booth as well."

Wait- What? Did I just hear her say Ji Yong? Or was it Ping Pong? 

"H-Huh? What? I didn't get that..."

"Uh... Sorry, I...kinda asked Ji Yong to volunteer for the kissing booth...We were completely lacking of volunteers, so...." She shut her eyes tight but took occasional peeks at my reaction with one eye.

"Ah, really? That's fine, no biggie." I giggled.

"R-Really? It's okay?" She now was in big puppy happy eyes that were now bulging out from her eyelids.

"Of course! What's in the past should remain in the past. I am completely over it." I held my head up high as I smiled.

"Uwaaaah! Thank you Dara! You're the bestest bestest friend!" She exclaimed as she threw her hands on me to envelope me in a hug.

"Anytime." I replied and patted her back as I returned the hug.

Ji Yong. He's going to be on the Charity Kissing Booth as the kisser for females. Not very surprising, of course my bestfriend would ask him that, she knew how much the girls from our batch had awaited this moment.  The moment when he'd be free to kiss any girl out there without getting themselves in a fight. The more girls who line up for the booth, the better. Of course this was for charity, and this was her main strategy for raising up funds enough for their annual charity works, I can understand that.  

But would I be okay? Was it really okay for me to volunteer myself? All I know is that I'm doing this for my bestfriend, nothing else. I don't care about the hundreds of cute boys that would happily line up to kiss me, I care about being able to at least help my bestfriend, she means a lot to me and I can't bring myself into saying 'no' to her requests even if it means I have to deal with seeing my now ex-boyfriend, Ji Yong, kissing and flirting with girls right in front of me.
