7 years earlier...

Tiffany was walking by the aisle of their front house. She saw a lonely boy walking by, and thought of making friends with him. 

"Annyeong haseyo!" She surprised him. 

"Annyeong Haseyo.!" The guy smiled at Tiffany.

"What's your name?"

"Donghae Lee imnida."

"Aahh.. Nice name." she said.

"How about you?" He asked.

"Don't know my name, I just want to be friends with you."

"Huh?" He looks confused at what she said. 

"Hwang Mi-young, imnida." She said with a big smile, knowing that she already made friends with Donghae. "But you can call my Tiffany or Fany."

"Okay." He smiled sheepishly.

"Do you have a toy with you or something?" She suddenly asked a still-confused Donghae. 

"Aniyo. I don't have any."

She was surprised at what he said. "No kid can live without playing a toy in his life. Do you know that?"

"My parents never gave me a toy, ever, in my entire 12 year-old life." He said with a saddened face.

"Cheer up! I will give you some of my boyish toys if you want." She said, giving him joy.

He smiled like a fool upon hearing what she just said. "Araso."

"That's the spirit!" She stood up, "Come on! I want you to go see them." She dragged him to her room and brought out her toys. She has Transformers action figures, Marvel heroe's action figures and some robots.

"These are your toys?" Donghae have been dreaming to have this kind of toys in his life.

"Yup." She said, "You can have it. Because I can't play with it." She brought out her Barbie dolls, "I have these."

"Gomawo." He hugged her.

"You're welcome. So were friends?"

"Neh." He smiled.

They were friends for almost 4-5 years.

Until, when they were 15 years old, Donghae realized that he fell in love with Tiffany, and Tiffany also fell in love with Donghae. They were secretly dating each other, when they knew each others feelings. 

"Saranghaeyo Mi-young." Donghae gave her a heart-shaped card.

OMO! She stared at the hand-made heart-shaped card that Donghae gave to her. "Gomawo Donghae. I love you too." She hugged him.

She read the card, the words were so touching, tears were falling down from her eyes. 

"You like it? Why are you crying? Did I wrote something that made you cry?" Donghae asked.

"Aniyo. The words are so touching." She sobbed.

"Because I love you so much." He said and grabbed her chin. Their faces were near each other and they kissed. She also realized that she  loves Donghae so much. 

Suddenly, Tiffany got accepted in an international school in Canada. Her parents forced her to study, at first she didn't accept, but when her parents threatened her that they will do something bad to Donghae, she said, 'Yes.'.She have to leave Korea and she has to tell Donghae the bad news, but she knows that if she will tell him, they might never let go of each other.

She waited for the right time to tell him. Donghae set a date and she thought that it was the right time.

"Donghae. There's something I want to tell you."

"Neh? What is it? Is it a bad news? or Good news?"

"Mianhe, but it's a bad news." She said sadly, she couldn't bear to see Donghae's face when she will say that she will be leaving Korea for a very long time. 

"What is it?" He looks worried. "Did someone die?"

"Aniyo. I'm..."

"You're what?"

"i'm lea..."

"..."

"I'm leaving Korea. And I will be in Canada for a very long time. I got accepted by a university for medicine."

His face changed from happy to depressed. "I understand. You need to study. You can't ditch school for me. But you will be back, right? When you finish school, you will go back to Korea, and you will still love me, right?"

She wasn't answering him.

"Fany. Please answer me." He pleaded.

"I don't know Hae." She said, in a sad tone.

"I understand. But I will promise you something. I will love you forever, I will wait for you to come back here. When you come back, I'm sure you're old enough, and we will get married," he said, he was holding back the tears. He can't let Tiffany see that he's crying. She can't see Donghae cry, because she knows that he's a brave man. 

She just sobbed, Donghae just craddeled the crying Tiffany in his arms. "I will really miss you. When are you leaving?'

"To- Tomor--tomorrow." She stammered.

"So soon!" Donghae excalimed. "Please wait for me tomorrow at the airport. I will be there when you're leaving." 

She nodded.
